Went to the carpark here it’s very small and card only. Some of the pumps were quite slow but it’s not too much of a detour if you’re on your way to Mersey island and I recommend filling up before you get on the island just incase. There is an Asda supermarket just next door incase you need anything. There was no staff present but it was very clean.

Just a short walk from home so I visit here very often. Friendly staff, competitive pricing, and good stock levels. Many bargains to be had and I have just started using the Asda Rewards app which has some benefits. Their range of summer plants outside the store had some real bargains. I also pick up my George online orders here as well. Plenty of parking and pay at pumps fuel as well (although it can be a bit tight turning into the two pumps alongside the wall).

Great parking on site and a good amount of disabled spaces too. Store is clean and tidy and staff are very friendly. The George clothing section is ok, but rather small, not a great selection of clothes. There is a petrol station on site also which is particularly handy 😁

Today I collected my click & collect order at Tiptree Asda & I can highly recommend visiting this store. The service I received was fantastic. The lady who came out to me with my order was so helpful. It was a large-ish order & I’m heavily pregnant she was kind enough to offer to carry my order to the car & also put it in my car for me (which she did). I didn’t catch her name but I hope this gets recognised!

Signs up in Asda store Tiptree saying Wine offer, 25% off on 6 bottles.
Duly purchased 6 bottles of red wine plus other items and paid at checkout.
On arriving home noticed no 25% discount!
Returned to store and was told by the 'acting duty manager' that the offer had finished to which I replied that there were signs up in store advertising the offer. The 'acting duty manager' wanted me to show him where the sign was and attempted to take me to another part of the wine display but I went to where I last saw them to find an assistant taking them down. The 'acting duty manager', without making eye contact, said the offer had finished and would not honour the offer as it was alcohol! What!!
Rubbish excuse! Offered me a 'good will' voucher that when queried it would not have equalled the 25% off.
Sanctimoniously and patronisingly asked me if I had ever made a mistake which obviously means that he had done!
I'm wondering if a 'proper' manager had dealt with this the outcome would have been different.
Maybe the 'acting duty manager' should have another stint at Asda school and pay more attention to the lesson that deals with customer service!
Refused the good will voucher as there wasn't any.

Staff are amazing here. It may be small but honestly it’s a little gem. Clean aisles, happy staff. Really refreshing during this pandemic. Staff are always friendly, smile at you. Girl at till today was so caring and scanned at my pace, asked if I needed help, she was great. Its always stocked really well too, a bit of everything. I shop in different places since lockdown. Sainsbury’s, m&s, Aldi Tesco etc. This store is only one that has managed to somehow keep positive and care for customers. Other supermarkets (no names mentioned) seem to have become a battle field where customers are the invading enemy..... when my supermarket is the only other human interaction I have other than my family at home, a friendly face is better than Prozac......
