Cressing Temple Barns is such a gorgeous place, the buildings and the walled garden are magnificent. Our reenactment group The Companye of Merrie Folke were there as part of the Apple Festival arranged by the Friends of Cressing Temple Barn. It was a delight to take part.

Incredibly well preserved gem in the Essex countryside. Definitely worth a visit and couldn't believe it was free to visit these historic buildings! The facilities were immaculate and the baby changing was lovely and clean. Sweet cafe at the centre also with a big menu and children's options. I would highly recommend a visit and I will definitely visit again!

This place is steeped in history the barns are very interesting especially the roof construction and the walled garden is beautiful. The cream tea in the restaurant was so tasty. The loos are clean and tidy. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Beautiful and super interesting. Can’t believe it was free! Dog friendly and mostly accessible - I walk with a stick and could get around great, apart from one part that was up some stairs and a viewing platform which had one step up to it.

Such a beautiful place full of history, and a charming Tip-tree tea room, we try to attend as many events as we can here for example the Christmas fair and the Apple day recently, the gardens are pristine and well laid out with accompanying information, the plants we have purchased from the stalls here remain healthy and lively.
The only thing I wish Cressing could bring back would be the reintroduction of their wedding service here. This would be a dream location and would be chosen in a heart beat. We shall remain hopeful 😊.
