Needed a new suit for a job interview. The lady that advised me was brilliant and made sure the set I got looked professional, suited my look, and fit me perfectly. No hard sale, wasn't rushed, just great advice. All high quality and at a very reasonable price too. Over the moon with my purchase.

My partner hired a suit from here last week for a funeral. (Collected Monday) I returned the suit on Thursday. I went into the shop with a pram and struggled with the door- to which the shop lady just looked at me. When I had managed to get in and manoeuvre around I was greeted with a glare. I said “hello I’m here to return a suit” in which she grabbed it off me and the hanger got caught in my jumper, I said oh hang on it’s caught and untangled, she immediately said “whats all this” in an unpleasant tone and I said “sorry?” She then went onto exclaim how filthy the suit was and that it was covered in dog hair, I said I don’t have a dog and that it was probably dust from sitting in the car. I asked if it was a problem (it was minimal hair but she was acting as if I’d just brought it in with a thick coat!) she was sighing and huffing and puffing. A younger lady said “Sandra it’s fine it will be sent off to be cleaned”. I was very embarrassed and she made me feel very belittled, I said as we hired it surely it would be cleaned anyway and that her reaction was warranted. I tried to stand up for myself by saying her attitude hadn’t been very nice, my voice was shaky and she said in a very sarcastic manner that she had been fine and she sincerely apologises. At this point I started crying which infront of my child is embarrassing and also no consideration in the fact the suit had been hired for a funeral so obviously I had attended a funeral of someone I loved. We have used James a few times and had no problems but after the attitude and treatment I experienced from Sandra we will not be returning nor suggesting them. My partner did try to ring twice to speak to the owner but both times he was not there. The young lady in the shop was lovely though and did keep telling Sandra to leave it and smiled at me- if I were here I would leave this company and find employment at a nicer place! In short, Sandra I hope you are happy at making me cry infront of my child and making me small about as big as an ant.

Great selection of clothes. Went to check out a jacket. Came out with that, polo shirt, chinos, shirt and a light waistcoat. Could have got more. Excellent salesman that served me. Really good experience. Would gladly recommend and definitely go back. Nice clean shop.

I Booked my wedding suit and was very happy with the service . I was aloud to collect my suits 4 days before my wedding . I had a problem with a pair of trousers and James's were happy to get the correct ones ,but when I went to collect them they noticed a tear in the trousers I had to wait an hour and a half for them to repair them . Also one of the shirts that was supplied came in a packet that my wife to be had to iron . I was not expecting to do this !! . It would also be nice to been shown how to tie a cravat as I experienced some difficulties !

We got ignored, did not want to help. Shop empty and I wanted to buy trousers. But his call to his mate was more important then getting a sale.
