Amazed at how they treat their past and good customers. There was obviously a design fault in some of their equipment sent to me, and when it emerged later on, they just refused to discuss it, sending me a refusal for refund or exchange despite my having made a very good case for at least an exchange (though if they haven't sorted out the problem, that would have been futile anyhow). Such an arrogant and peremptory attitude to customers is presumably why their Trust Pilot rating is so deservedly low.

Chose 'express' delivery and paid extra to get order ASAP (1-2 days). Then received a delivery update from courier saying my 'Economy' delivery would be here in 5 days!?! Not the agreement of the order, and breach of sales contract!
Been trying to contact NHBS since to resolve or return, but they're not replying to email or phonecalls. Furious.

Very good service. I bought at least 9 books from them. The last one I bought was two weeks ago and it wasn't in stock it said normally delivered within 1-2 weeks. So I took a risk and ordered as a Christmas gift for my husband. So to make sure I get this book on time they upgraded my delivery to express. And now the book is all wrapped up under the Christmas tree. Very happy!

Order was already delayed, however I accepted this. Come the day of delivery, unbeknownst to me, seller asks courier for return of goods to the depot without any reason. Only found out after contacting courier after set delivery time. I have paid the money and have the receipt. Terrible service.

if I could give zero stars I would but there is no option

Having had my order accepted and I pay for the delivery then says 5 working days unfortunately 5 days past no delivery no dispatch I contacted them they advising will take 8 weeks once again there is no dispatch

Further to my colleagues email last week our purchasing department has now heard back from the supplier of this book. Unfortunately they have informed us that they do not currently have stock at the moment and are in the process of trying to obtain a copy to fulfil this order, but they do not currently know when they expect to be able to do this. This means that it will be some time before we receive this book into stock and are able to dispatch it to you, and we cannot currently give you an estimate date for when this will be.

Ordered nearly 6 weeks ago thinking that should allow for delays of up to 4 weeks as stated in the small print before having to collect samples from the wild. The lack of equipment arriving is now hampering my field season and jeopardizing my research. Won't risk ordering from NHBS EU again
