One of the best rugby stadiums in the UK,the Halliwell Jones stadium is also well located, bieng just a 3 minute walk to the north of Warrington Central Liverpool to Manchester line and 5 minutes from the bus station & town centre. The facilities offer column free completely covered viewing with a terraced South stand for home supporters,a West stand terrace for visiting supporters,a fully seated East stand, merging with a fully seated North Stand which also hosts executive facilites. Concourses are wide with easy access for disabled supporters, and there is a good club shop next to the ticket booths.

The club offers online payment for tickets and the option to collection a physical ticket on the day of a game though cash payments are still accepted on some turnstiles. On the day of my visit the club were hosting a local schools competition prior to the evening match and the whole ground had a wonderfull family feel to it,with usefull friendly staff and stewards adding to the sense of occasion.

For any sports fan who likes modern terracing under a roof i recommend the South Stand on a Friday evening under floodlights. The atmosphere when the team is playing well is fantastic, complete with chants of "ohhhh Wary,Wary..
WaryWaryWaryWaryWarrington" and "Wire! Wire!" which refers to the club nickname, and based on the towns Wire making heritage.

Went to the Halliwell Jones stadium yesterday for the charity boxing event. A fantastic cause and hopefully lots of money raised for cancer research. However the event was staged in a really small function room. Cramped to the point you couldn't move and also extremely long queues to get to both bars. Staff were friendly but progress was slow, mainly due to the amount that was being ordered. My personal view was that far too many tickets were sold for a room this size.

The security staff at your training ground on crab lane wa2 have been leaving the site unmanned for the past 6/7 months. The night guard has been leaving the site at 5am instead of 7am and the day guard has been leaving at 17:00pm instead of 19:00pm. There are numerous doors that are unlocked on your buildings that I will be revealing after a few days…. Constant security have done a brill job for you guys. Good luck 🤞

A great atmosphere, especially with a full house and a good number from the opposition. Friendly staff who directed my colleagues (first-time visitors ) to the facilities and seats.
The drinks are a bit pricey, though.
