My boyfriend and I had fun installing the BABYGO child locks. Yes that’s right I said fun! Really great idea. I like how they are hidden from view. Once you get the hang of it the magnetic key is really easy to use. Also you are able to store it by sticking it to an appliance, so it wont go missing, perfect!

The actual birthing ball I ordered is ok, but I would avoid using this company again. The whole interaction with this company has been incredibly disappointing, frustrating, and wasted a lot of time. I initially ordered a ball that the website said would be available on Oct 9. The order had not shipped well after this date, so I got in touch with the team who said it wouldn’t be available for another week. It is misleading to not have updated the date on their website as they had this information.

They then never updated the order page to say the order had been shipped, or delivered. When I got in touch with the company more than a week later, they told me the ball had been delivered and hid behind a wheelie bin 5 days ago. It is autumn in London and there had been a lot of rain, so the package that was his well behind the wheelie bin had completely disintegrated. All the while the order update page still said that the order was being prepared. I managed to salvage the ball and pump as they are plastic, but wrote to the company to notify them. I did not ask them for a replacement product or anything else - the email was simply to let them know about the failure in notifying their customers so this hopefully doesn’t happen in the future. They they replied saying they had sent another ball to me, and asked me to return the other one in the box it had come in. When I shared photographic evidence of the box saying it had disintegrated, I got an email saying there was no need to return it if the original box was not in good shape. Then later that day I got another email saying the opposite - that I need to find a bag to put the ball in and then to return it. I flagged that this is creating extra work and cost for me, to have to buy a big enough bag or box and post the ball back. In the end they emailed again to say they want me to return the new ball order they sent (without asking me).

Needless to say, this whole saga has wasted a lot of my time, not been efficient, and shows miscommunication within their own team given conflicting emails. I’d suggest that this company sort out their shipping and notification system, as well as communications with their customers so they don’t burden them with their ineptitude.

UPDATE 30 October 2023 - after publishing the above review, the company got in touch, refunded me the cost of the birthing ball I ordered, and sent me another product (breastfeeding pillow). These interactions with them were very helpful and coherent, though a bad review shouldn't be what triggers a company to provide decent customer service. As I said in my review above, their products are great so I'd recommend them, but be sure to speak up if customer service is not on par.

Had reply to my email, there was a problem with the server at Babygo's end. Now sorted, received a new applicator within 2 days which works perfectly. The locks are quick and easy to install, but for added 'security' I have used the screws supplied with the locks to screw each lock and catch in place. Very pleased, thanks for your prompt assistance Leah.

Bad products and they send you wrong parcel when you return to them you have to pay the postage and when they receive the parcel they don't send the money or refund you.

Absolutely obsessed with the maternity Knickers! The material is so soft and the under the bump cut off is so comfortable, I can't imagine wanting to go back to normal Knickers once baby is here
