Jack was a superb guide! As our first big mountain walk, Jack helped us navigate up the mountain at our own pace and showing us a variety of routes to explore. Aside from being a great guide he also helped my partner pull off a great proposal, from calls before hand to bringing us to the top of Great End for a perfect photo finish. Thanks for all your help Jack and giving us a great day which we will remember forever!

What an amazing day with Jack!

Give him a shout if you're in the Lakes. He made our experience, and with our 5 year old for his 1st time (now he's old enough!) such a brilliant one.

From start to end we felt cared for, safe and able to have fun knowing we were in professional and good hands.

An absolutely brilliant experience! We booked for a family of 4 (2 adults and kids aged 10 and 12) to go ghyll scrambling in Church Beck. We booked directly though the Adventuring website which was convenient and easy to do. Jack was our guide for the afternoon. He was fantastic, very knowledgeable and made us and more importantly, the kids feel at ease, The experience as a whole was just the best day out, without a doubt the most ‘organised fun’ we’ve had! The ghyll scrambling down the small waterfalls was more challenging than we expected and the jumps were the perfect level of fear while knowing you were in safe hands. Would totally recommend to anyone looking for a fun day out in the lakes!

Incredible afternoon Ghyll Scrambling at Church Beck. Huge thanks to Jack for his time and organisation and to Ross and his wife (Mari?) and dog (George?) for showing us the way and also capturing so many photos for us to remember the day by. A brilliant experience we did as part of a Hag-do (hen and stag party conjoined!) could not recommend it enough!

What an awesome day. Pinnacle Ridge in the beautiful Grisedale Valley. Jack was superb, took the time to teach the basics and all round mountain safety adding up to a great climb and scramble. Great chat in and out and he also laid on stunning weather too. So good to find such a good all round guide in the Lakes.
