It's been a few years since we visited Meadfoot but I hope Steve & Gail are both thriving. They were utterly brilliant for our stay with breakfast, local tips, walking areas etc and it's a holiday me and my partner talk about to this day, we would love to return soon

Me and my husband stayed here for 2 nights in September, the room was small but cosy with a private bathroom.|The breakfast was absolutely amazing!! You get tea, coffee juice, fresh fruit & yoghurt, cereal then a full English honestly I've never been as full.||It was my birthday on the Saturday and Gail & Steve left me a little birthday card 🙏||The gardens looked beautiful but the weather wasn't that great for us to sit out.|Highly recommended, it's in walking distance to everything.

A very relaxing stay at Meadfoot Guest House, Gail and Steve couldn't have been better hosts.
The downstairs room, with a four poster, was overlooking the beautiful garden. The room was perfect and the shower room
was spotless. The full English breakfast was hot, tasty and well cooked , with the fresh fruit salad and yoghurt also freshly prepared by Gail and served by Steve. A lovely start to the day.
Steve was well versed in the area and had a wealth of local knowledge.
If you are looking for an excellent bed and breakfast experience, then Meadfoot is the place to stay.
Would give 5* without question.

The guest house is situated perfectly between Windermere and Bowness (approx. 15-20 minute walk). |The room was cosy and comfortable with a private bathroom. There were lovely little touches such as tea facilities, biscuits and toiletries. |The breakfast was amazing! We had toast, fresh fruit and yogurt, followed by a full cooked breakfast. Considering the price we paid, I wouldn’t have expected such a breakfast. The dining room overlooks the beautiful garden. |Gail and Steven are excellent hosts and I would definitely stay again!

### I think that Dr I Chandra |is referring to some where else ### | |Gail & Steve are amazing hosts . |I could never imagine either of them being rude let alone aggressive! ||We visited in May 22 for our 40th Wedding Anniversary quick break. |On mentioning it & said we had bought champagne Gail quickly said I’ll get you some champagne flutes… ||The accommodation was spotless we had the garden room, it was lovely to sit out with a glass of wine in the evening before walking up to the local restaurants for a meal.. ||If we go back to Windermere I wouldn’t stay anywhere else ..

The room and bathroom were very nice and clean. Gail & Steve were excellent hosts - friendly, chatty, and very knowledgeable about the local area. Their breakfasts were above and beyond and they went out of their way to cater for dietary needs (vegan). Will be hoping to book with them again when we next visit the Lakes.

This is truly a fabulous B&B. Room was ample size and bonus of looking out onto a garden. Plus side was having own entrance to room rather than through the house. Loved this place and would defo recommend and return. Both Gail and Steve were lovely hosts.

Just got back from a weekend away. Fab guesthouse close to bars and restaurants. Amazing breakfast! Gail and Steve were absolutely lovely and so welcoming! Lovely garden area to sit out in the sun to 🙂☀️||Will definitely be returning next year.||Nicole & cole
