The whiskey in this store is very good. But the customer service is the worst store I've ever seen, bar none! He didn't have a single bit of knowledge about alcohol and was even a bit racist (towards Asians). Obviously the machine accepted my card payment but he refused to sell it to me. It was really ridiculous. So rude, no reason and refused me. I don't understand.

My first visit to Windermere and I was looking for a specialist whisky store which was hard to find. I found this place by chance and I'm glad I did.

The staff are very nice and knowledgeable as I was trying to wind a good whisky as a present.

They have a good range of spirits to choose from and can also be gift wrapped or put into hampers.

Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely little shop in Windemere, friendly and helpful staff.

I called ahead to see if they had any mead in stock and the helpful person who answered let me know that they indeed did have some.

Good selection of champagne, wines, beers and spirits. Was surprised at the price of the mead, it was very cheap.

Will be visiting again if I return to the area 😊 thank you

Been meaning to write this review for a while. I was incredibly disappointed with the lack of both knowledge and customer service when I popped in to take a look at what was on offer when I was visiting the Lakes. I presume the blonde middle aged woman I spoke with must of been the owner as otherwise the sheer arrogance, rudeness and ‘looking down the nose at you behaviour’ displayed would of had her fired immediately (at least if she was working for me) - certainly needs some manners, common sense, lessons on business acumen and one hell of a reality check. I do not recommend in the slightest and you’re better off taking a walk just up the road to Booths to get most of the same stuff (if not better) from there for a lot cheaper.

Good selection but extortionately priced unfortunately...

Based on Whiskeys. You are charging £37 for a bottle of Dubliner that you van buy anywhere for £24. I treated myself to a bottle but after checking it out I felt robbed!

A nice selection of boutique liqueurs at the standard price you would pay anywhere else. Alas, they don't sell the 70cl Kin Toffee vodka.. the 50cl yes though.
