Just returned from a wonderful two night stay at The Bolt Hole. It was everything we hoped for and more. It’s in a perfect location, walking distance to plenty of pubs / cafes - we ate at the White Heart Inn for breakfast and The Lion Inn for dinner - both were faultless and only a 2 min walk from the cottage! Popular spots like Bourton On The Water etc are also only a short drive away.

The cottage itself was beautiful, so cosy with everything you need - the log burner and huge bath was a real touch when we returned from a very wet and muddy hike! And the bed…we had the best nights sleep ever!

Amanda was a fantastic host, answering any questions we had before hand, and even checking in with us via email during our stay to make sure everything was ok. I’ll be recommending The Bolt Hole to everyone, we’re already planning our next stay! Thank you so much, Amanda! X

Beautiful place to stay, exactly what we needed. The place was stunning and so clean it looked like no one had ever been there before. Lots of lovely little touches that made it feel very personal. Looking forward to coming again

We enjoyed our stay at the Bolt Hole and used the kitchen, which is well equipped, to prepare our own dinner on several nights. The location is very central in the main street of Winchcombe and it's easy to access walking paths and local sites such as Sudeley Castle. We found Amanda to be a very accessible and responsive host.

Beautiful stay at The Bolt Hole. We appreciated all the extra touches and little details which really topped our stay. Minutes away from great walks, shops and restaurants. We left feeling rejuvenated and can’t wait to come back. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Lovely little getaway in a beautiful village. The house was spotless and comfortable. Lots of attention to detail which made the stay even more special. Would highly recommend.

Very comfortable. Great bed,lovely bathroom (bath and shower) with unlimited hot water.

We loved our stay at the Bolt Hole and it was great to feel that our dog was just as welcome as we were. We were there in the winter and it was lovely and cosy with the log burner. Highly recommend.

If anyone is looking for a place to stay in the Cotswolds for a break, I couldn’t recommend The Bolt Hole enough. It is a lovely village and a warm and welcoming cottage to stay in.
