Our final stay on a hiking trip. I can't say enough kind words about the Plaisterers Arms. Gorgeous pub, lovely rooms, fantastic breakfast (including catering to a pesky gluten allergy!). Liz was the finest host you could possibly hope to meet. Thank you for all the kindness you showed us! Can't wait to stay again.

Popped in on Sunday afternoon, empty, miserable place and miserable land lady and £19.90 for one lager and a double G&T ...think she saw us coming. Walk on by to the Corner Cupboard.

We are two females walking the Cotswolds Way and arrived tired, hot and hungry to Winchcombe. It was like falling into welcoming arms: The Plasterers Arms; Liz, the proprietor's arms. So the Hotel, owned and operated by this wonderful human being, was an absolute delight. We loved the 500 year old decor. Stepping down from the Bar to the dining area was like walking into a carefully carved womb of antiques.

A great local experience, always friendly place to meet locals and get cosy near the fire place without being too overwhelmingly Busy. It's a lovely place after a long day's walk or cycling thanks to it's proximity to Cleeve Hill.

What a great pub. Stopped for 2 nights with pals. The landlady, Liz was welcoming and friendly. She went out of her way for us and nothing was too much trouble. Great food and such an historic pub. All five of us had a fantastic stay. Liz has a great sense of humour and is fantastic company. We are already planning our next trip back. The pub is a gem and Liz is a diamond.

This pub is an absolute gem! We were served by Liz who has a warm and welcoming Irish manner. She was attentive and made us feel at home. We decided to sit right by the bar to speak to her as she was very funny.

We had beef brisket baps for lunch. I’m not exaggerating when I say that they were the best baps I’ve ever had.

What really made our visit to this pub extra special was that Liz offered to give us all a lift to the station as it had started to rain. She closed the pub leaving one of the regulars inside to keep watch and whisked us away.

If you’re in Winchcombe make sure you head to the plaisterers arms…you won’t regret it!
