Lunchtime today was our first, but not last, visit to the Larder Cafe. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks came quickly and were well prepared. We loved the outside space where we were able to watch the 7 cats, hens and piglets. There is a playbarn for children too. Parking is on a quiet road outside the cafe. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Expensive breakfast.
The sausages are good quality butcher sausages but that’s it when it comes to anything different on the plate. Bacon was over cooked and dry. Not much of a breakfast for £13.50 black pudding extra cost hash browns extra cost very little on the plate for the price and only one piece of toast, come on I think you could do better. Having been working all over the country the past couple of years and trying breakfasts in many places. This was the most expensive so far but not the best value for money I’m afraid it states free tea or coffee. I don’t drink tea or coffee so asked for a juice. On the menu it’s the same price as tea or coffee but I was charged an Additional price. Not quite fair or right as I wasn’t told this and my friend could have had an extra coffee had we known we payed for something that we never received then had to pay extra for a tiny glass of juice.
Working in the area for the next few months but unfortunately won’t be returning.

Fantastic breakfast this morning - especially the homemade black pudding & hash browns.
Tim the butcher sorted me out with some excellent meat, and the deli had brilliant local cheeses & asparagus

Wow we called on Sunday after walking in Stowe. The toffee nut latte was has good as any we have ever had and the bacon and mushroom roll was delicious and packed with juicy mushrooms and lovely crispy bacon.

Wow! What a fantastic place to buy local, quality produce. The sausages I bought tasted absolutely remarkable. I'll certainly be back for more! Might pop in for a breakfast next week too.

A hidden gem in Buckingham, a great butchers with fantastic meat from their farm and very helpful friendly staff,
The cafe and Deli are both excellent and they use their own and local produce. Very good prices too.
