It's basically another pound shop selling cheap tat or reduced size branded products at a lower price. It looks like a good deal at first but it usually isn't.

The store is dark and cold and the staff look miserable, which if I worked there I would be too!

I'd rather pay more and get my items from somewhere that takes better care of its employees and has a nicer store.

Great shop for your cheaper items, lots of choice .some good prices , the dog treat selection is varied . The only downside in this store is the till service is slow .

I often pop into this shop when I'm in Chesterfield you can get some good items at great prices being right next to the multi-story car park is a great spot for this shop I normally look around town then on my way back to the car pop into this store and often leave with something they have all sorts of stock from stationary to cleaning products and items for the home and the last isle is your snacks, treats and nibbles. A great shop with some great prices.

Absolute love this shop. It has everything you need in here, it's like a pound shop on steroids 😂 so many items to chose from. I doubt you will be able to walk out of this shop without buying anything.
The only thing I would say about it is, don't go in here when you're in a rush or in the way back to your car! Take the time to take a good browse around this shop.
It's next to the car park too so you no need to worry about buying too much 🤪

This shop provides most of the products you need for everyday cleaning and personal care, along with a extras like pet supplies, storage, stationery, snacks, seasonal decor and gifts, and what-not. It's in the lower floor of what was originally occupied by BHS. The previous business was TJ Hughes who seemed to prefer a dark decor with a low-lit ambience which has been kept. Added to this, probably due to an entrance/exit on Vicar Lane and in the back corner near the car park machines, there’s a constant cool (or rather, cold) atmosphere in the building. Of course, this is fantastic in the summer, but not so good throughout the "frostier" months! Putting this aside, it's a no-nonsense place providing a decent range of everyday low-cost products. I just wish they would utilise the upstairs where there used to be extra sales space and a cafe/restaurant when it was BHS.

Waiting times at the till are too long and putting the items through the till was painfully slow. This is my 2nd visit and both times have been the same with different people on the till.

Very disappointed when I checked my receipt and noticed I had been charged twice for X2 items!!!
Agree with so many other customers that it is freezing cold in the shop!! I just hurried to get out as soon as possible. Poor staff that have to work in that cold atmosphere.

Lovely shop with lots of lovely buys, but please put some heating on. Been to the one in chesterfield today and we were freezing even after we left. We felt sorry your staff, its not healthy to work in that cold environment
