The most attentive service ever!!

Pleasant friendly manner, with a very cheery smile.

The traditional full English included a drink as well as two slices of toast, a very hearty breakfast indeed!!

The atmosphere was equally pleasant also.

The price was extremely reasonable for the area.

We visited Dunster on Monday 14th April whilst on holiday and popped into The Cobblestones for lunch. After looking at the menu, I asked if I could just have a vegan cheese sandwich and some chips. We were served by a lovely lady who said if that's what I wanted then that's what I could have.

They were so accommodating and I didn't feel I was putting them out at all. And they weren't stingy on the vegan cheese!

We all enjoyed lunch, especially the chips which were lovely.

All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I think a few places up in the Midlands where we're from could use a few lessons in customer service from everyone here!

Popped in while visiting Dunster for a cream tea and so glad we did.

All of the staff were genuinely friendly, attentive, chatty and helpful. The service was quick and the food we had, excellent.

I had a lemon scone with lemon curd and my wife the fruit scone with jam. Both scones were huge and still warm when delivered to the table. Both soft and crumbly, the flavour was lovely and for me, the curd was amazing.

Tea was great and we were told to just shout for more hot water if we needed any.

The surroundings are cosy and the seating well spaced and comfortable.

Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

A big gang of us stumbled in with two dogs in tow, several of us with a plethora of dietary requirements, allergies and pathological indecisiveness that often alienates us from most places. What we got was some of the friendliest and most accommodating service I have encountered thus far. The food was lovely and the staff were incredible. It really rounded off our wonderful visit to Dunster. Thank you Cobblestones!

We received a very warm welcome as we entered, and were looking forward to dining here.
We had our 2 dogs with us.
The seating area was spacious, and we didn't feel cramped.
It was lovely and warm at the front, we sat down the back, it was a little chilly.
The staff member taking our order was very friendly and helpful, and assisted me in finding a gluten and milk free option.
In the end, I chose a baked potato, baked beans, and vegan cheese. It was ok, but they did serve it with sachets of butter on the side.
Hubby chose lamb burger. He didn't really enjoy it. However, he said his coffee was really nice.
We were asked if everything was ok with our meal, but we didn't like to tell them that we didn't really enjoy it, as the staff were so nice!

A super restaurant set on the high street within the beautiful medieval town of Dunster.
The food has lovely flavours, beautifully presented and very good value for money.
Recently, we have experienced a birthday afternoon tea and a really lovely three course Christmas dinner on Christmas day.
Lovely atmosphere and extremely friendly and helpful staff, nothing too much trouble. As I write this review, bookings are being taken for this coming Christmas dinner!

Duster is a truly beautiful place to stop off. The biggest issue is that to many people do not give it enough time. Get out to the back streets and explore. When done, stop off at the Cobblestones and try the amazing cream tea. I promise you that you will never regret it. The scones are so fresh and still a little warm. The Jan and cream are locally sourced and you can tell as they are superb.
This is the second time I have stopped here and it will not be the last. The ladies that run this establishment truly give 1st class service.

We have been visiting Cobblestones for several years when we have our holiday in Dunster.
The food and service is always excellent. Had a family meal last Sunday - lovely burgers and Mac & cheese. I squeezed in a piece of carrot cake as looked so good - delicious. Then called in for a 2nd visit on Saturday before leaving Dunster to drive back to the Midlands. Had a cream scone and cappuccino. The scones are massive, warmed and one of the best scones I have ever had. I sat in the garden looking at Dunster castle. A wonderful end to our week in Dunster. See you on our next visit to Dunster.
