This little hotel was recommend by a friend that lives in the village, the level of service was fantastic, the lady of the house even stayed up till 11.30pm to greet us after our flight from Hong Kong was delayed. The rooms are a great size and well equiped with all the things you need. Breakfast is nice selection of continental , cooked is available on request. All served with a smile by the man of the house. The location is great for exploring the coast , Exmoor and Doon. Valley . We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights with our dog in one of the courtyard rooms. Lovely cozy room with the essentials. Breakfast is optional but the home cooked fry up was on point. The owner was super friendly and helpful. The place was just as advertised on the internet. Lovely area, local shops within walking distance. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back in the future. Thank you for having us 😁

Fantastic stay, friendly family run, nothing is too much trouble. Double room with en-suite and adjoining room for my daughter we’re large and spacious, plenty of tea and coffee in the room with biscuits for a treat. Lovely quiet place having no restaurant not a problem we ate on our way back from our days out and there are a few pubs near by. Will be coming again

Avoid at all costs,landlady looks for any excuse to charge extra money for damages missing cups etc,that didn't even happen.Totally over priced,no restaurant no bar,all in her head.Would rather sleep rough.Really would feel vulnerable being in the same house as her,and this is the opinion of a lot of guys who have had the misfortune to stay there.

Friendly, family run hotel which offered a very good room, excellent breakfast for our one night stay .Parking no problem and well situated a few miles from Watchet and Minehead. Thank you Liz for making our stay so enjoyable. On our next visit to North Somerset this will be our choice.

Room was incredibly cold as the heating was not turned on for the majority of our stay. They did supply a small electric heater which we used but this took hours to take the cold edge off the room. We were slightly disappointed in the general cleanliness of the room, finding a couple of spiders in the bedroom and bathroom.

Parking was handy, right outside the front entrance and staff were very friendly. Shower was also hot and powerful.

We felt that for £7.50 per person the continental breakfast was very limited, no pastries etc.

Overall we left slightly disappointed and wouldn't return.

The White House is a very friendly family run hotel. Our room was spotless with plentiful tea/coffee facilities and the breakfast was cooked to perfection. The hotel is quiet, relaxed and informal. The perfect spot for a short stay in the area.

Impossible to find fault with this lovely hotel. The room was perfect with everything you would need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Likewise, the en suite bathroom had lovely soft towels and toiletries. There was a great choice for breakfast. Everyone was friendly and the rooms were spotless. Ideal for exploring the Dunster/Minehead area, or the heritage railway.
