I was recently filming in Taunton, Somerset and The Strand provided all of the catering. I am coeliac and follow a strict gluten free diet and I was catered for superbly. The food was delicious and very tasty. Lots of variety. I even got to have beef stew with dumplings - which was amazing!

The strand stores provided food for us on set whilst filming in there area - the food was delicious and something I was looking forward too each day! I also noticed those with intolerances they were great for catering for also 🙂

Lovely little village cafe with deli counter and shop to serve the community. We had cappuccino and a hot chocolate. Great local beers, ciders and other products are available too. I bought a New England Style IPA from Red Rock Brewery which is quite uncommon in this part of the world.

Had some time to kill in the area so grabbed a couple pasties, pieces of cake and quiche for a quick bite before a short stroll along the river. Food was really nice and found a lovely spot on the riverbank to sit and read while the dog paddled in the water. If you plan to do the same bring a blanket to sit on.

Cracking little place. Used to take dad here for coffee over a decade ago. Rediscovered it. Chairs dont match. Aittle quirky. In a good way. Different people but the vibe still the same. Roastworks coffee too. Good lunch.
