We’re currently on holiday at Doniford and visiting Watchet. I looked online for a cafe for us to eat lunch in and my husband and I liked the look of the menu so decided to visit. What a lovely cafe! The food is so fresh and tasty, the staff warm and welcoming and they even have a canine menu! They are very dog friendly. Would 100% recommend coming here if you’re in the area.

Nice little cafe. Nice breakfast options, hot strong coffee, and lots of different hot drinks options. Sandwiches and cakes on offer, and if you have a sweet tooth, the shop has old-school sweet options. Also serves alcahol and hot alcahol beverages. Well worth a visit if you're ever in Watchet.

Popped in for lunch on Easter Friday and lucky to get a table. Although it was really busy the service was excellent and very friendly. We had the bacon paninis which were excellent value and really tasty. Will definitely be back when in Watchet again.

We went to chives cafe 2 times whilst on a weekend away in Somerset and it was absolutely amazing!!!! The prices are so good for the quality and amount of food you get too, everything is made fresh to order but both times despite being busy, came out in no time! Definitely recommend this little cafe if nearby, the cappuccino is lovely too!

Fabulous cafe with room to move when you eat, tasty breakfast at a good price with lovely service. Dog friendly and many tasty treats for dog and human alike.

After a super takeaway breakfast decided to go back for lunch. MISTAKE: rarely has an owner (male )been more rude! Yes it was busy: yes it was bank holiday AND if you are full with bookings for the rest of the day, put a sign outside! Offer a takeaway to eat in the cider lounge! And it is not high season yet.

What a fantastic place. We were lucky to get a table as it’s clearly an “in demand” place. Had a Brie and bacon panini, large latte and fruit scone. What a treat, the food was fantastic. The service was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will be back when we are in the area again. The selection of cakes they had looked delicious too.
