Very warm welcome from the lovely lady as we walked in. She took good care of our food and her enthusiasm lightened our times there. Although the space was very small, it perfect for a cozy short stay to have a coffee and late lunch. The interior was retro and nostalgic, we love the simplicity of the food they offer.

Unfortunately, I didn’t catch the owners name, but she is one of the most wonderful people you’ll ever interact with. She’s the kind of person that knows every local’s name, and greets strangers with a smile. She truly cares for each and every person who enters her café. On top of this, the food quality is great and the flavors are spot on. The coffee is excellent and she isn’t afraid to customize things for you. I just wish I found this spot sooner. I was only in Cambridge for a few days, but if I ever come back this is one of the first places I will visit. I simply cannot recommend Trockel, Ulmann & Freunde enough!

I haven’t been here for a long while and it’s still cozy and friendly little cafe 🙂 The uplifting atmosphere as well as the hearty food made my day.
My first time trying the beautiful panini here, which has been tempting me for years. The crust is perfectly crunchy and the pastrami and pesto and mozzarella get along so well inside. So many lovely options of quiches and paninis and blackboard menu. I’ll start to come back more often XD

I don’t know why my old review is gone but yeah their quiches are delicious.

We were walking around with my friend, hungry and quite tired, looking forward to having our morning coffee and all of the sudden we found this gem. The food is delicious and so is the coffee. The service is amazing, we were so pleasantly surprised by the girls' kindness. I would totally recommend coming here!

Best staff I’ve met in my brief 18 years on this earth. I had my interview to study at the University, and the staff tried to make me feel as good about it as possible and were incredibly kind.
The food by itself was already brilliant, but the atmosphere made it even better.
Wholeheartedly recommend!!
