I've been to this park a number of times and it's a nice place to go for a walk and for the kids to play.

The new large play park with slides and swings isn't open yet but when it is this will be even better.

The visitors centre is very nice and the staff are always helpful. You can normally buy seeds for the birds here and also if you don't want to wait in the queue at the cafe you can normally buy drinks, sandwiches and ice creams at the visitors centre with little to no wait.

I visited this cafe when I visited Hardwick Park.

There was a slight queue, so we had to wait a while before getting served. (We didn't mind).

We bought a coffee each and some food.

The ladies who served us were very chatty, witty, and pleasant!

The prices were a little high, however the coffee and the homecooked pasties were very nice and we were more than satisfied!

Would definitely return!

There is seating inside and outside, and the prices are very clear.

Lovely cafe, friendly staff, food is decent. Good cake (gluten free options) and good jackets. Best part does have to be the views of the park! Beautiful for people of all ages, and there’s plenty of wildlife to observe.

Great place for a family walk. Has parking £2 for 2 hours or £3 for all day has a gift shop, toilets and cafe near the car park with a great safe play park. Lots of interesting sculptures for little ones to interact with on the walk around the little river and lake. Plenty of place to sit and have a picnic. Will be going back for a longer time.
