So happy with our stay here! We came across Burlington House while trawling through various hotels close to the centre of oxford, and what a find it was! A beautiful Victorian building, lovingly presented and maintained with large well appointed rooms. Spotlessly clean, with thoughtful and helpful touches. Management hospitality second to none, informative and so helpful, nothing was too much trouble! |10 mins by bus to the centre of town, super easy! Free off street parking at the hotel, fantastic high quality breakfast with home made bread included. I could go on!|We wouldn’t hesitate coming back, and we agreed that we would have paid significantly more for this accommodation. In our opinion worth every single penny plus a fair bit more!

Lovely hotel and outstanding service.|We were left with trying to find somewhere to stay at short notice as VRBO let us down with a filthy apartment. We rang Burlington at 1755 and they had a vacancy, Victor was really helpful, booked us a room and a slight discount and he stayed later waiting for us to arrive. Rooms are lovely, plenty of space and clean and it’s 2 miles walk/bus to Oxford City Centre. Breakfasts are wonderful and lots of it and coffee was good too. Fully recommend and a special word for the staff who are all nice and Victor for making us welcome.

This hotel has character and is well located with a frequent bus service into town just outside and good local shops and restaurants in walking distance. Also there is parking and on last day we were able to leave the car there after we had checked out. Our clean and comfortable Queen room was on the top floor at the front, but the sound insulation meant we were not disturbed by the noise of traffic. What stands out however, is the excellent service and the quality of the breakfast. We would happily stay here again.

We called the hotel at 8pm last night to see if we could get a room, and we're greeted with a friendly voice and a booking for the night, in a great location. The room was well presented immaculately clean and very stylish. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and the homemade granola was delicious with the yoghurt. The staff were very kind and respectful. Nes was the icing on the cake... right man , right job.

Just had an overnight stay, my Wife was attending a function at Oxford University. Great place to stay, clean, comfortable, really friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Great breakfast, good local restaurants, we ate at the New Dancing Dragon just down the road and it was lovely. Easy access to Oxford, good local shops etc. Highly recommended.

Friendly greeting on check in from Victor, showed us to our room, Room 1 up 2 flights of stairs, he showed us how to use the heated flooring in the bathroom, explained about breakfast times, the fridge and fresh milk available. He explained where to catch the bus, just outside the hotel and a 5 minutes walk down the road to pubs and restaurants which you can scan the QR code and see the menu.|We booked a king size room and wasn't disappointed, it was big enough with a wardrobe and plenty of drawers, with a hair dryer, there was a coffee machine and pods, tea bags, biscuits and 2 chocolates and a bottle of water.|The bathroom was lovely with a fantastic hot shower and radiator and big white fluffy towels with complimentary shower gel and soap.|We loved the complimentary parking and when we arrived early we could leave our car and go in to the city.|Couldn't fault the choice of breakfast and the homemade bread and granola, compliments to the chef!|Five minutes walk, left out of the hotel to Summertown where there was a variety of shops and restaurants and a pub Dew Drop Inn.|Will definitely be booking again.

Delightful four night stay over a weekend. Ideal location for local amenities in Summertown. Easy city access by regular buses. |We stayed in the small room annex which was perfectly adequate for a couple. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great breakfast cooked to order. |Definitely would stay here again on subsequent visits to Oxford.|Many thanks to Nes and Victor for your hospitality and making our stay special.

We stayed for one night on our way for a break in Devon. The queen room we had was a bit on the small side but as it was only one night that was ok.|The fact that you can park free and get into Oxford easily by bus or even walking is a great bonus and the local area has plenty of bars,pubs and restaurants .|All the staff we met were really polite and helpful. The owner Nes greeted us and is very informative about the hotel and the area.|Breakfast was really good with all the ingredients being of high quality.|We would certainly stay here again when we come back to Oxford.
