I had a chicken parmesan bun and it was very tasty. However, the little piece of chicken is less than half of what they show on the website..There's no way this sandwich is 770 calories with 30 grams of chicken and a shadow of tomato and gherkin . You can see in the picture the chicken doesn't even cover half the bun. It's a shame because it's not a cheap meal.

My favourite place for hot chocolate and cinnamon bun … I love to stop by, relax and enjoy my maternity leave freedom. Also lovely to see the face of Anastasia who is always very helpful and always remembers what is my favourite drink. Friendly staff and good food. Top 10 in Windsor.

I used to visit Gail’s Bakery in Windsor often. Their bakery used to be very good until a few weeks ago when suddenly the quality of their baking was lower than before. Yesterday we had to return two pieces of apple and blueberry cakes back to the counter since the smell and texture of them was not of the same quality they used to be in our previous visits. Inside of the shop smelt of bad egg/ oil …The third piece of the bakery which was the replacement of the two returned was not of the right consistency either. I wonder if they changed the chef?! Otherwise I love the friendliness of the team, cleanliness and ambiance of the shop. Also only if the coffees were served in higher temperatures since most of the times coffees come not hot enough. I have asked the barista team before and they say this is the Gail’s suggested coffee machine setting. Well many of my friends said the same thing about their coffees not being hot enough.

Been here multiple times and although it gets quite busy, I have consistently received excellent customer service.

Staff is friendly & welcoming. Baristas make one of the best coffees in & around London and some of the bakery items are irresistibly delicious.

On this visit I tried the ‘spinach & feta roll’ with a cappuccino and I can highly recommend both as they were utterly delicious.

Overall the cafe is on the pricier side (especially if you eat in) but one that I can still highly recommend & will visit again soon.

Visited 31/05/22.
Went for a late afternoon coffee.
Coffee machine was broken - with a contractor attempting repairs on site. Contractors also in attendance upstairs repairing a walk-in fridge.
Place virtually empty. Tables dirty. Two dead potted plants on a shelf. Glaring floodlighting fixtures and blank, gray walls all conspire to present the aesthetics of a Russian gulag.
However, the food & drink when it finally arrived (pot of tea and a pastrami bagel) was of a high standard - served to me by an enthusiastic but poorly trained young lad (customer interaction and food hygiene issues etc.)
Very expensive pricing.
Seems to be a disconnect between bakery and front-of-shop.
Food still being produced when shop front counter was fully stocked - few customers to sell to and closing time fast approaching indicated to me the food would go to waste.
Most food establishments have a "zero waste" policy - this was not in evidence at Gail's.
Management was conspicuous by its absence.
Not impressed.

Been here a couple of times. Every time I found this store very clean, especially the high chairs, which is very important for me.
