We have just cancelled our order for a new porch from Sherborne because we have lost trust in the company’s ability to deliver what they promise in the time frame they indicate.

Throughout the design process, Sherbourne has shown a lack of attention to detail which required us to repeatedly correct the design. For example, weeks after finalizing the design we were told they made a mistake, and the door we picked could not open out, as specified in the design. Their solution was to charge us an extra 350 pounds for a substitute door that is less to our taste. We have never received a final plan showing the dimensions of the porch, and we have been given different answers at different times for basic measurements. When we have tried to clarify details like these, we encountered an irritable and rude member of staff, who implied that we should trust the reputation of Sherborne and not ask so many questions.

Finally, everything has run late. After sending our deposit, we were told to expect a survey within 10 days, but it actually took four weeks. Installation should have been 6-8 weeks from survey, bit it was three weeks before they even noticed the error with the door, meaning no work had happened in that time.

In summary, we would not recommend working with Sherborne.

Amazing service. I can’t recommend Sherborne highly enough. From measuring, through planning, planning permission and finally project management, the entire experience was a joy, despite our being overseas for the final completion. I would definitely use Sherborne again.

Great company excellent service have been using them for nearly 2 decades can't recommend highly enough. Excellent after sales service two. Recommend to anyone I know who is looking for their products and not as expensive as you would first think considering the high whisky of product and service

Every window needed me to pull them up on poor quality installation.
They did come back multiple times to correct lots of issues - not sure this counts as good customer service or poor quality work during installation. Wouldn't recommend.
