I came into Carter Marsh on a bit of a whim, looking around to scope out some vintage watches in remembrance of my father. I met Stephen (fantastic name by the way) who expertly guided me through my first vintage watch experience. Answering all questions I had and gave me resources to do my own research as well! The experience here is truly personal and with their help finally managed to pick the perfect piece for the start of my vintage collection, with the added centimental bonus of honouring my father. I will be using their services long into the future and would recommend this shop to anyone interested! It was a true pleasure. Thank you for all your help.

A superb collection of the best quality watches and clocks to suit all budgets. Well worth making the journey if you’re looking for a special present. I accidentally stumbled across this jewel of a family business when visiting for the day. No hard sell, Jonathan was happy to chat and advise me on a special watch I was seeking for my husband and I found exactly what I was looking for. They patiently answered all my questions and promptly answered all emails and gave me mini updates whilst the watch was being serviced by their expert watchmaker. With my husband's birthday fast approaching, they worked around the clock and out of hours to get the watch ready in time. I asked them to put the watch in the window with a little note. Imagine my surprise (and his) when the watch was displayed front and centre on top of a wrapped box with a beautiful note to him from me. My husband was speechless for a long while after we entered the shop and they wished him a happy birthday and made a real fuss of him. Darrall and his team are true professionals and experts. They made us feel super special from start to finish. They put their heart and soul into their business and we can’t wait to return. 5 ⭐️. Thank you so much.

Called into Carter March & Co, this week, having previously visiting them. on that occasion I was surprised with the diversity and quality of their preowned timepieces. As well as the vast array of clocks and antiques.

On this occasion sitting in their window display, along with many others, was a watch that I had been looking to purchase, but with the volume of preowned watches available online, it was a minefield.

I was greeted by Rami, who as well as being very informative was also patient, as during the day, I visited the shop three times, on one of those visits, as Rami was serving another customer, I met Johnathan, who I believe services the clocks and again was made to feel very welcome.
It was late into the afternoon when I went ahead with the purchase.
And though it has only been a few days, I am very pleased with the watch.

What I would say, is even if you are not looking for anything in particular, I would recommend a visit to the shop, as you never know what you may find!

Poor communication . Over the last year I’ve looked to sell a few watches with Carter Marsh . Prices I’m looking for were not in any way unrealistic. However, I always seem to be met with ‘not for us’ or even worse no response at all! I’m aware this shop is located in a wonderful setting and aesthetically is beautiful, but I feel there is an air of pretentiousness with the owners and for that reason the prices are over inflated imho.. I certainly won’t be recommending to anyone looking to buy a vintage watch … a real shame

So pleased to see this brilliant shop go from strength to strength. I bought a watch here back in 2020, which was only the second vintage watch I’d bought, and the guys were super helpful and really friendly. Even though I knew very little about the world of vintage watches and the watch was v cheap compared to most they sell, they took so much time to explain what I was buying; how to look after it and why it was a unique piece. Fast forward three years and they still are super welcoming, even though most of the time I’m just browsing and they still keep the most brilliant range of watches in stock. I like the quirky and unique watches that stand about a bit from the more modern fashions and they always seem to have something in stock to delight - and, it must be particularly highlighted, something to please the full range of budgets, which I appreciate since the top end of most watch collections is pretty inaccessible to most people!

I was looking for a specific watch and had seen a few that were not up to the mark. I saw one on Carter & Marsh’s website so paid them a visit.
What a find this shop is the watch was amazing just what I was looking for. The two gentlemen in the shop were very welcoming and were happy to spend time with me talking watches.
So nice when two people who clearly have a passion for what they do can indulge in a passion.
Cannot recommend the shop highly enough as previous reviews mention they have some amazing stock could have spent the whole afternoon browsing.
If you are looking for a watch or a clock then Carter and Marsh is a must.
I would highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for quality and service. Next time I am shopping for a watch Carter & Marsh will be my first stop
