I have nothing but good things to say about Winchester Framing. My partner and I have gone there for pretty much everything we needed while we lived in Winchester. We've bought prints, art supplies, greetings cards and most recently (took me long enough) I got something framed.
I had my consultation with Lauren (I hope that's your name) and Simon helped out with a second opinion to the construction as the artwork had some odd dimensions. It was a pleasure working with them on this. They're both super friendly, welcoming and easy to work with. To make things run extra smoothly I'd recommend checking out their website to get an idea of what you might want from your frame ahead of time, there's more choice than you might anticipate. Don't be scared though, they make it very easy.

I have had two signed art cards for years I’ve been meaning to get framed. I wanted to get something special for these priceless pieces of mine and Lauren made it so easy. The consultation we had she immediately was pulling up different frame options that complemented the colours in my artwork while also listening to the vague idea of what I wanted. I ended up with the perfect arrangement of my pieces with frames I never would’ve thought of but ended up being the perfect fit! Both Simon and Lauren are knowledgeable at what they’re doing and I will be going there in the future for anymore frames I want made.

I recently had a large acrylic portrait framed at Winchester Framing, and the experience was exceptional. Simon, the framer, provided outstanding customer service, patiently helping me trial various liners and frames until we found the perfect match.

Although there was a longer lead time due to supplier issues beyond Simon's control, the final result was worth the wait. The craftsmanship is impeccable, and the quality is evident in every detail. Simon also kept me updated every step of the way, where relevant.

Pricing is also very reasonable, especially considering the high level of service and expertise provided. I highly recommend Winchester Framing for anyone in need of custom framing. I will definitely return for future projects.

What a great little art store! I was genuinely impressed with the fantastic range they had for almost every medium of art. Personally I do a lot of oil painting and graphite portraits and everything I need they have, even some really strange requests. plus the guys and girls in there are super friendly and do all they can to help. lovely independant business doing a great job. well done .

A real gem that's just across the road from Chesil Rectory, so you can pop in for a chat to the lovely staff, buy some great art supplies then leave them all in the pub after a few too many cocktails.
I urge you to support local and get your work framed expertly by Winchester Framing rather than the faceless online options. The service and prices are great, too.

Simon is a star, would recommend him every time, he has done a few things for us now. He is extremely helpful, really knows his stuff but is never pushy, points you in different thought directions for a full view of something perhaps you hadn't thought about to help you make your best decision, keeps you up to date with progress and is a lovely person. He has just done a beautiful puzzle for me and it is magnificent. The lovely (little!) lady that works with him is charming and always ready to help wherever she can.
