Staff were friendly and there’s a nice variety. However, some sweets I bought were labelled incorrectly. The Blue Raspberry Bonbons are actually bubblegum-flavoured and the Toffee Bonbons are just toffee covered in sugar

Well they certainly all know their stuff. 🍭
Sweets are mainly for kids and people who never grew up. I am on a diet at the moment. But because it's Christmas 🎄 I think that this shop has an extra decidedly delicious appeal. I used to have a penchant for a 'penny mix up' or a Jamboree Bag when I was a kid (a very long time ago) !
Funnily enough I was looking for the Antiquarian book shop in the much venerated city. I must be getting a bit short sighted in my old age. Because I couldn't see the old shop anywhere.
But back to the old fashioned sweetie shop. I do hope that this sensational emporium of fruit 🍓 and chocolate flavours stays put. It's got a definite feel of The 'Harry Potters' about the place. Which I think is very well situated in the high street of Winchester.
Nice very helpful and friendly service from staff.
A fun fact .💋 I used to spend a lot of my weekends in Winchester. Looking at the second hand records in the market and Winchester wax ( second hand records shop). When I wasn't too busy learning to play a few musical instruments.So I have some musically influenced memories of the famous great city.

Great shop with friendly and knowledgeable staff. There is something for everyone with plenty for vegans and intolerances. If you can't get in the shop at the top of the high street don't forget that they have branched out with another store by the Brooks centre, accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs.

We came here on our trip from the Isle of wight. We popped in to this magical shop, which went on and on. So many to choose from hence choosing more than 1 bag. Oops 😬..

This is a great little sweet shop just off the high street. A big selection of sweets including sugar free and vegan options, as well as a well-stocked pick and mix section. Lots of gift items too, highly recommended!

Nice place, decent selection. Owner seemed a bit shocked I would dare to ask if they stocked tim tams, made me a little uncomfortable.
A simple and polite no always suffices!
