Has some good amenities for such a small shop, its like a micro-supermarket. Its often over priced, im unsure if this is a coop thing or if this store just preys on the high student population nearby. There are 2 self serve checkouts and 2 normal ones, but ive never seen the 2nd one open, even if im queuing for 5mins just to pay. If you do manage to find something you like and dont mind paying a bit extra for the convenience of this shop being so local, your visit may be soured when the card machines beg for charity before you can pay.

A small shop, very cramped. It's a Co-op so it's expensive, some food is worth the extra money, some not.

Main issue is/was the staff or one member inparticular, picked up a few bits that were discounted for people with Co-op member cards, got to the till and was told that "that membership card is for other Co-ops" have used said blue card in other Co-ops in/around the East Mids, turns out these stores use some yellow one.

The kicker is, the lad serving couldn't be bothered to offer me the card that the store actually uses, meaning I paid about £5+ extra for everything, the savings would have offset the cost of the card.

Thought supermarkets were supposed to encourage customers to get membership cards? Too much trouble for the lad serving, too lazy or perhaps he enjoys seeing people get ripped-off. Will avoid in future.

Ashbourne road co op is our local. We have been lots of co ops ' I will say again again Ashbourne road is the best. Best food. But most Importantly is the staff and service. They are the best. Never do you get bad service ' only kindness and help. Keep up your beautiful work . Me and my husband Paul thank you. Xxxxx

Visited this store this morning and the two staff I spoke to were so helpful! A young man over heard me telling my little girl that they did not have any cheese rolls, he went into the back to find some and I didn't no he had even heard us, it was so lovely. My daughter was happy. And the lady who served us swapped our pack of two jacket potatoes for a pack of four that was on offer to clear. 😅 Every little helps 👌 also they do Costa coffee 🤤

Always a good place to stop over for when you're going through there from uni to my house. There is a student discount scheme to help you with the costs of everything. It's a 10% discount if you sign up on their website. I'm not 100% if the scheme is still there. Worth asking inside, the staff are always ready to help. However, there is always an amazing deal foron their frozen isle where it's a 5 items for £5. It's so great and I think helped me with my low food budget! Would recommend!

Great selection of produce and regular deals that are far better than the nearby sainsburys. Would have been five stars but the queue always seems to be long and waiting times can drag. Staff are nice though so that helps

Extremely busy with school parents and children who were more interested in talking than shopping. Very narrow aisles then with extra cardboard display stands. All felt a bit clostrophobic.
