Bought a nice wardrobe from Oakworld in November 2024. Really nice unit, no complaints about that , but wanted an additional 2 shelves and pegs to increase shelf capacity. Called up, requested and paid for in December 2024 and told it would be 4-6 weeks. No sign of the shelves as of end of March. Called several times, and told it's "being looked into" and someone will get back to me, but never have. I would just like the shelves please!

The customer service was disappointing—slow, unhelpful, and lacking any practical solutions. After finally arranging for a faulty item to be collected, they went silent and only responded when I mentioned a chargeback. While I did eventually receive a refund, the entire process was far more difficult than it should have been. I won’t be shopping here again.

This firm is the worst I have experienced. I wouldn’t order anything from them again. I ordered some self assembly bedside cabinets; they arrived damaged and in one of them, there was a piece missing. It took months to replace the parts. I was promised a part refund in end but Ive never received anything. Their products are not a patch next to IKEA’s. Go to IKEA instead.

They delivered to schedule. However, discovered I paid ÂŁ30 more than I needed to. Same product available in several other stores and I fell for the marketing - supposed discount/sale. Also, with their logo they're pretending to be Oak Furniture Land (Oakleaf).

Do not purchase from this company, I wish I’d read reviews first. I bought a wardrobe we built it as best we could with a lot of missing bits. Moved it into position and it collapsed. My grandad was able to fix it together with extra screws and pieces of wood we had. Disgusting

Awful company do not buy from.
Had to get a wardrobe replaced twice as it was broken both times in transit. Took time off work to be there for delivery and it never arrived. Took 10 weeks to finally decide enough was enough and cancel my order.
Absolute cowboys just buy your furniture elsewhere!

Extremely poor customer service. Item was damaged, had holes in it, the hook was missing and the company refused to send it after promising they would. Told all my friends and acquaintances,
So many online companies have opened up, you need to do your homework before you purchase from them, absolutely poor terrible service and products !!!!!!

We ordered an oak corner tv cabinet. Our item arrived and it’s the incorrect item. The box is battered, damaged and falling apart and the item itself has minor damage.

Upon opening the item there is also paperwork in the box with SOMEBODY ELSES details - name, address, email, telephone number, payment method etc. More than enough to commit identity theft if we were so inclined! A huge GDPR breach - not sure how we can have faith our details are protected. It looks like somebody else’s return that had not been checked over and simply shipped out to us.

We contacted the company to make them aware and request they collect the incorrect item and send out the correct since we needed it as moving into a new property. We were told they don’t know where our item is (hopefully not with somebody else with OUR details in the box!) so have to contact the warehouse who aren’t in?! No idea why they can’t arrange to send another of the same item out since it is still listed on their website.

As such, we have purchased a (better quality) item elsewhere. We requested a full refund and that they collect this item. The collection will have to be at our inconvenience giving they have requested I do not leave it outside I am going to have to take time off to ensure I am here for it to be collected. But they refuse to compensate us for this inconvenience which is a direct result of their negligence.

Absolutely appalling company and service. Do not recommend and I will be contacting the ICO myself due to concerns re my own personal data giving they didn’t know where our item is and we received enough of somebody else’s data to commit fraud.
