Parking on top of the cliffs near the old lighthouse makes a good starting point for accessing the beach and cliffs. Leaving the carpark at the lower corner you can access the beach at the end of the cliff run. Turning back towards the New Hunstanton, you can walk the full length of these cliffs and depending on the tide, see interesting rick formations on the beach. Well worth a visit if you're In the area. Kids will enjoy it to, as they may get to enjoy rock pools or the usual beachcombing. You can also access the cliffs from the town beaches if you'd prefer.

One of the best day trips ever 🤩 loved every second, will be back again I hope. We parked at the lighthouse car park and then walked towards left till we got to the main pier. No picture can ever express the majestic views. Highly recommend just watch the tides as whan it comes its rather fast.

The Hunstanton Cliff Café sits in a stunning coastal setting with some of the best views you could hope for, especially on a clear day when the sea stretches out seemingly forever. The café’s outdoor seating gives you a front-row view of this natural beauty, making it a perfect spot for a leisurely afternoon. The menu is enticing, and we couldn’t resist trying the cakes and scones, which were absolutely delightful. The cakes were soft, fresh, and full of flavor, while the scones, served with clotted cream and jam, were exactly what you’d want in a seaside treat—perfectly crumbly and indulgent.

Unfortunately, while the food and setting were impressive, the experience was dimmed by the attitude of the staff. Rather than the warm, welcoming service you’d expect from a cozy café like this, we felt distinctly unwelcome, as if our presence was more of an inconvenience than anything else. Despite polite exchanges, there was a clear sense that we weren’t particularly wanted. A bit of warmth would have made a world of difference and turned a good visit into a truly memorable one.

Overall, the Hunstanton Cliff Café offers a fantastic location and lovely treats that are definitely worth trying if you’re in the area, but perhaps prepare yourself for a less-than-enthusiastic reception. A little more kindness from the staff would truly make this café a standout spot on the coast.

Loads of space 👍 and easy to pay using the MIPermit app so long as you can get a signal. I paid for parking ok when up on the cliff top nearest the town, but down on the beach or even lower down the carpark there is no signal if you want to extend it. Prices are standard for the area, and it's ultra convenient for the beach. We love the beach at old Hunstanton, and use this carpark whenever we visit. It's very big and easy to navigate. Paths lead down to the main public entrance ramp, which ensures that the dunes and cliffs are not eroded by people unnecessarily.

Just watch out when manoeuvring off the slightly raised spaces and back onto the tracks. There is a height change which could catch out a low car. The tracks do erode a little each year. But it's far nicer to park on the Natural chalk, rather than asphalting over the whole site.

Great place to visit. Loads to see and explore. Of course the weather helps, but it would of still been beautiful even it was raining.
