Absolutely lovely gelato shop in the heart of Filey. The ice cream is wonderful and very reasonably priced. The owners were really friendly and I will definitely be back, especially during the summer weeks and months. ☆☆☆☆☆

First and foremost the ice cream is absolutely fantastic and very reasonably priced. Loads of flavours to choose from. As others have said the owners are very welcoming. Dog friendly which is very common in Filey. Gluten free cones which was a real bonus for my wife who is coeliac.

Very friendly and attentive staff. We had scones with jam and latte coffees. The quality of the food was very good and the scones were freshly baked.
The prices were at the top end of price range and personally I felt the coffee portion was smaller than some other local offerings.
Overall well worth a visit.

What a lovely ice cream parlour! We enjoyed freshly made coffees and delicious ice cream from a fabulous choice of flavours at Curlew Gelato Lounge; it was the perfect treat at the end of a day trip to Filey’s coastline. The delightful family owners have clearly put in a great deal of planning, effort and expense to transform a neglected, old shop into a very clean, modern and welcoming space. We wish Curlew Gelato Lounge every success and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a visit. We’re certainly looking forward to returning 😊

As a new family business trying to make a difference to the local community. This is what filey needed can’t wait for the bar to open and to see the progress of this business can achieve. Great customer service. Dogs on the back to tables good for families and everyone of all ages.

Fabulous ice cream, milk shakes and coffee. Lovely service. Lovely friendly family and set to make more improvements. I hear they are to have a licensed bar and more facilities.
