Nice cosy accommodation. Friendly hosts. We stayed in room no.1. I believe it was a super king size bed which was super comfortable ! Huge walk in shower and full length bath. Tasty breakfast. The breakfast room was nicely decorated for Christmas. Can highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

We stayed at this lovely house (presumably originally the vicarage) for one night. I must say the Christmas decorations adorning the house were beautiful. The breakfast was also very good and the room in the annexe clean but pretty average. |However it was noticeably cold hence my 3 star rating! When we arrived in the hotel at 3.00 (check-in) time I noticed how cold it felt. Disappointingly we had to go outside to the annexe to get to our room. On entering the heating wasnโ€™t on and the bathroom and room were freezing! My husband managed to get the electric heater to work and we went out straight away to give the room time to heat up! Again at breakfast the dining room was noticeably cold with a tiny electric heater in the fireplace. Whether any radiator was on Iโ€™m not sure. |Overall I wouldnโ€™t recommend especially in the cold weather. Not at all cosy. Yes the Christmas decorations were extravagant, but the heating needs turning up and fires and stoves lighting!

Absolutely wonderful! I cannot fault the hotel, the staff, decor, character and effort made by everyone! I paid more than I usually would for a room overnight as a solo traveler, but I would pay it 10x over for the quality of experience. ||If you ever get the chance to stay, you wonโ€™t regret it. Nothing was too much trouble and the facilities are beautiful.

We booked last minute as we needed a bit off an escape from the rat race. Can only say this hidden Gem did not disappoint. Greeted by the proprietor Peter and from the start out sprit was lifted. Room had a four poster bed, which we did not expect . A little stroll around the village and met some very friendly locals who made us feel very welcome. Booked a table for the evening meal back at the hotel. Food was 5 star with the most charming waiter severice. The menu was small, but the choice was top notch. Peter is also the chef, and the food at dinner and breakfast was perfect. We are looking forward to our next visit, which hopefully won't be too far away. Thank you to all for a wonderful weekend break.

Have really loved my few days here. Stacey and Peter couldn't have been more welcoming. The room was clean and well appointed and the house and gardens beautiful. The breakfasts were plentiful and very well cooked. I would recommend a stay here if you want something relaxing and laid back.

My Partner and I stayed very recently at Wrangham House. Room1
Extremely clean room with a large comfortable Bed with lots of pillows too!
The Garden is well kept. And a lovely place to sit and watch the wild life whilst having a Glass of wine.

Peter and Stacie were wonderful Hosts. Very friendly and hospitable. And not to forget the young waitresses at Breakfast. Very polite and attentive.
We had Dinner and Breakfast during our stay. Both excellent.

The Hotel is in a lovely village. 2 Pubs, a few shops and a Pretty Church and great for anyone who likes scenic walks.

Overall.....

Had Easter lunch at this cheery country house hotel and the food was lovely, crisp roasties, fresh veg, large portions of meat. Staff are friendly and attentive and the hotel grounds are beautiful. It felt like a special occasion having drinks beforehand in the bar and coffee afterwards in the lounge. I felt like they valued all their guests and treated them as special.
