My wool jumpers have been getting holes. The lovely lady in Shan’s Fabric and Haberdashery in Hunstanton diagnosed moth damage. The eggs are microscopic and not removed by washing. Her advice is to put items in zip lock bags and freeze them for at least 48 hours. Moths are best deterred by oregano oil, dropped onto pieces of wood and put in the drawer or cupboard. She did a beautiful repair job on my favourite sweater!

What can i say a needlcrafters paradise. Everything from material to sewing thread to wool . You could spend hours just looking at all the wonderful fabrics. Open Wednesday to Saturday. No car park.

Brilliant shop with friendly helpful staff who have time for their customers. Always spoilt for choice and I find the huge buttons display very exciting when adding finishing touches to my knitwear. Recently got started with quilting and have had lots of advice. Keep up the good work ladies
