I love coming to this library. The staff are so helpful and friendly, and always have time to answer any questions.
The library itself is a brilliant little hub for clubs, small events, or just to browse and spend some quiet time after work.
Being new to the area, it's become my favourite place to go and find out about the area, what's going on locally, and to meet new people.

This library is fantastic! The building is light and airy with a fantastic selection of books, especially the kids section which has comfy reading spaces and a little table for puzzles and other activities (puzzles can also be borrowed). The staff made us feel so welcome and were incredibly helpful. What an asset to the town!

A great modern simple smart facility with a lovely community serving engaged way and a seeming very, very helpful staff member on duty at Tues Jan 23rd morning. Helping find answers needs for one and all coming to her, in a pleasant manner. If not a slightly loud raised voice way which was a bit more thsn needed and made one's own concentration at the computer desks corner a little hard.
But overall very! impressed . And compares well with local ones known in my home corner England.
Two other staff helping sort books industriously and quietly and the senior man with a kind listening way it seemed to be hearing and helpful.
5 stars for sure one thinks. Thank ! you. Great to find on a break here.

Nice..lets not lose it!!!

Hungerford library is a major part of our local community.

It's under threat of closure due to local council cuts... closing hit would be such a major hit to our town. Our library offers reading clubs for children and since the closure of the local post office they've stepped in to help.

A community of 6500 deserve a post office and a good library service.

The staff is very helpful and they organize a great range of activities, from Craft & Chat to book clubs, talks, computer initiation sessions, art, book readings. There's something for everyone. Definitely the heart of the community.

It’s usually closed and when works its for short time. Computers otudated and very slow. wifi very slow too. Seems there is a book stock though but nothing exiting.

Small, but part of the larger west berks libraries, so can borrow in any and return where convenient. Friendly staff
