Lovely shop! Friendly helpful lady, excellent selection of books, puzzles, and a few similar toys for children of all ages. Also has a cafe attached with a boat kids can play in and some books they can read while they're there. But don't go in too late in the day, I made that mistake and my toddler was desperate to play in the boat but unfortunately the cafe closes earlier than the shop, so he couldn't, but they're not separated by a door or a gate or anything so it was very hard for him to understand. But otherwise a really terrific shop, well worth a visit.

Initially popped in for a browse, but the lady behind the counter was so engaging, helpful and friendly that we ended up buying quite a few Christmas presents! Not because we experienced pressure to buy….quite the opposite. Would highly recommend a visit.

What a lovely book store, we met an author, Katy Kirby for a book signing. My daughter had the best experience along with many others.

Cannot sing the praises of this bookshop enough! The people who run it are the best humans and you all need to take massive wads of cash down there and buy a ton of books for your kids (or yourself) because books are actual magic and essential for the soul. They'll help you find the best books for your kids if you're feeling uninspired, they run amazing author events... and they have brownies!! what's not to love?

A real gem - a beautiful book shop with lots of great events and activities. The cafe offers good coffee and a wide range of snacks, with a play pirate ship and books to read together. Staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

The most wonderful independent children's bookshop. The team are incredibly knowledgeable about the books they have and the cakes are delicious. A haven of cosy joy in Hove. 10/10 would recommend.
