Absolutely disgusted by the lady cashier at the shop. Only because I asked about a price discrepancy she began to get defensive and argumentative towards me in front of my kids and other customers. She refused to listen and got very judgmental not that I was asking her for another bargain but she got very agitated. It was evident she was having a bad day but removing it on customers is absolutely unacceptable and disgusting. I was told her name is jasmine surely they gave me a wrong name

"closing down sale" going for 13 months now. items have fake tags to advertise fake sales. Googled a few of the barcodes, and the same items on amazon were more than 50% cheaper than here. Still, I bought something before checking the price, and the receipt shows a standard "ITEM" and value. They dont accept refunds or exchanges. Had to contact the bank because on top of the item being broken, they overcharged by £10. I'm quite impressed that they blatantly ignore consumer laws regarding refunds, and no one sued them yet.

Positive feeling after visiting this shop today around 4.30pm.
Worth to visit and zero down on this for daily needs. All prices are 1 Pound.

Below average quality for the price and definitely not closing down I guess. The so called ‘Last 2 weeks’ closing down sale is been live for more than 10 months. The staff is also rude, google products and it price before buying to avoid the regret later.

Looting customers in the name of half price. Product quality not good. They sell things at 4 times greater profit. I was shocked to see their prices. Other shops and supermarkets sell same products at much low prices than theirs.

My first UK experience- where shop owner has the right to say Customer lies. Having spent 7 years in USA, this experience really upsets me and changed perception about London.

Please coach your team with values to respect customer points- it’s okay if don’t exchange or return

You have no rights to say Customer is “lying and broke the stand”

I have left the item to the same shop, appreciate if the shop owner does a quality check against all his items in the shop - because “you don’t want sell a defective and say damaged by customer”

Just cos people are coming to the shop doesn't mean you can treat them rudely. They don't answer your queries and behave very rudely to customers. They don't follow the UK consumer law on exchange and returns of the product. The comedy is that they can't accept the softcopy of the bill for an exchange and insisted you get the hard copy of the bill. While marts like ASDA,ICeland, sainbury are accepting soft copies of bills. One of the worst experience I had in UK. Road side shops are better in terms of customer services when compared to this shop. You can't ask for the manager, since the people at the billing they think them selves are managers, ceo's. If you go to this shop be clear on what you buy, cos even if it's faulty, they say that you did it, that kind of shop it is...

Nice unique good quality value items in the shop and nice a but sadly what gives it 1 star not 5 star is the integrity and behaviour of the management to the customer. Is appalling and ghastly not befitting on a UK high Street.
For you show a clear faulty item they acknowledge and then refuse to let you change for another different item or refund contrary to UK consumer law and their own notice of 14 day return policy. They are rude and belittle you with insolent intimidating you making excuses to not honour their policy and UK consumer law blaming me for not using the damaged item properly or it is opened which one had to open and find it is faulty!
Tis Shame. You try to help local business and they behave uncivilized and accuse customer rudely their problem not theirs and not show honour and respect to the customer. You wonder why people than go to nationwide shops instead to avoid such cretinous imperitant rabids guttersnipe arrogant people. I pray they will change.I'll go to the other shops instead.
