Tammy and Lee, were superb. We came in and were not rushed when looking at a new sofa and TV unit. They took the time and patience, while also offering us refreshments.

top notch service Daryll not only helped us buy chairs at a great price but also found us a second chair that he didn't have in his store, helped with the reservation and gave us the necessary information as well as his colleague in the other store, which made it easier to pick up without any problems. I haven't met such a good salesperson for a long time who puts the customer first. We will definitely come back next time

We ordered a sofa with fabric care kit, mattress & pillows from Furniture Village Lakeside. They delivered the sofa & mattress together (which we asked for) but there were no signs of the pillows. We rung the store to be told they were there and we could go to collect (even though we paid for delivery). We turned up only to be told they couldn’t be found, with no one knowing where they were. We were also told that they had no fabric care packages in stock so we couldn’t have that either. Upon emailing them asking them to deliver these items to parents as we were away on holiday for 2 weeks, we were told this would be arranged. We are now back from holiday and still no sign of the pillows / care kit. The replies to emails have stopped as we’ve sent 4 and we’ve left 2 voicemails with NO response. Is this how you treat all of your customers? Management please URGENTLY look into what’s happening with the rest of our order.
*UPDATE* pillows got delivered 3 days after this review, with no email & no fabric care kit? Is it common practice for people to pay for items and never receive them?

Great service at the Thurrock branch. Mohammed Ali was extremely courteous and friendly, and was able to answer all our questions. He showed us lots of alternatives for the dining table we were looking for, and gave us tip and advice on how to properly care for the furniture. The store has a great range of options, and felt very premium compared to some of the other places we had visited. Very happy with the service we received and I’m sure we’ll be back in the future- thank you Mohammed!

A fantastic experience. Upon walking into the showroom, we found exactly what we were looking for. At the same time we were greeted by a member of staff called Suzette (Sue). She was welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and the exact kind of person we would hope to find in this type of store. She was non pushy, which immediately puts us off when the reverse is true. She guided us around the items we were looking for, knew exactly where to take us on our needed specification.

I wanted to share my experience, we recently decided to purchase a dining table, and a friend of ours recommended visiting Furniture Village for this purpose. Upon their suggestion, we visited the store at Thurrock, Lakeside Retail Park.

During our visit, we had the pleasure of meeting with Sales Consultant, Simeon Harman. Simeon was incredibly helpful and patient as he guided us through the various dining tables available, taking the time to thoroughly explain each option and answer all our questions. His knowledge and assistance played a significant role in convincing us to purchase the dining table as well as a few additional items.

Overall, our experience at Furniture Village was excellent, and we are pleased with the service we received.

If you want to be lied to the face and have promises broken, then this is the shop. Unfortunately we had to deal with a salesman called Leigh. All is good when you are buying the furniture. But when your item is delayed he becomes very stand offish. I mean if your item is delayed you expect to be told. Not a chance you get told I deal with 16 people a day, went in yesterday to be told I will deffo ring you. Guess what no phone call, all I ask for is delivery money back as spending nearly 3 grand you expect items to be delivered on time when you order in may.
