Pegalicious (AKA: The Great British Balloon Company)
Google: Opening Times on google are incorrect. Went to Shop according to opening times given on Google ie shop is open but upon arriving saw a sign on shop door saying its only open on Tuesdays and Saturdays! Get this fixed. Misleading for customers.
Terrible Experience, no customer service at all. Slammed the phone down half through a conversation saying ‘I don’t have time for this I have a business to run!’ Then 30 seconds later she messaged me saying sorry I have a family emergency. This was difficult to believe as she asked me to call her as she had some free time and would not have said ‘I don’t have time for this I have a business to run!’
I paid £79.95 for the balloon hoop, which started to fall apart immediately.
The netting fell off as it was not even stuck on properly. I had to tape it back on myself. Day 2 the balloons started deflating. I asked for a partial refund as I was so unhappy with the product. It was tacky and clearly a very rushed job. I was told to wait 14 days until a decision was reached. In the meantime, I was stalked multiple times on Linkedin as clearly it was important for Margaret to check my social/professional status!
The experience of dealing with Margaret was terrible and left me feeling not so good. All of this was brought to her attention, but no reaction.
Rude, argumentative, aggressive communication. Complete lack of customer service. Unwilling to receive constructive feedback.
Company did not agree to a partial refund. As a goodwill gesture they offered me a £10 gift voucher. This was not helpful as I was mentally and emotionally not prepared to go through the same nightmare of dealing with Margaret again. Explained this to Margaret and asked for the pitiful £10 to be refunded directly into my account. This was refused and she insisted a gift voucher was all they could offer. I did not accept this.
How can such a person be running a business that is supposed to bring joy to others?
Keep away from this company and take your money elsewhere.
