Ellwood installed a beautiful new kitchen for us. We chose them due to the great choice of cupboards and worktops they had available, after months of trying to decide. They took great care over getting the design right for us. We got extra-height cupboards, pan drawers, larder cupboard, pull out corner inserts, plumbing for fridge-freezer. John and Colin were amazing with the fitting side of things. We had the hob moved and which needed new electric circuits (gas to induction) and new ventilation ducts for the extractor. The guys did an amazing job, paid attention to even the small details (like positioning of door handles and interior shelf heights) to make sure we got a kitchen that worked for us. As an added bonus, they were also cheerful, friendly, and tidied up each evening, and made great efforts to minimise disruption to us during the work. Only slight hitch was a small problem with the work done by the electrical contractor but this was quickly resolved with help from Ellwood.

Really pleased with the bathroom. From first contacting for a quote Boyd responded quite quickly and was very professional when came out to quote. There was a bit of a way for fitting but not too long, and it shows they are a popular company. There was a bit f a mix up with dates but it just meant the job was stated a week early, which was good news. The teams who fitted the bathroom and carried out the tiling were great, excellent workmanship and great attention to detail. Been using the bathroom for a couple of months now, no issues. I was over the moon with the finished bathroom, it was just how I’d imagined it when picking everything out, couldn’t be happier.

John did repairs to the bathroom and en suite toilets as the original installer refused to carry them out. He also recently fitted a radiator to our hall. I would recommend Ellwoods as they have pride in their work and are very reliable. I am still very happy with the kitchen they fitted two years ago

We had new kitchen and bathroom installed by Ellwood. First impression was unfriendly but professional so we went ahead. The partner, who did the manual work was very friendly. The kitchen was fitted on time and we had no problems unlike the bathroom where I had to constantly phone and request them to come back and finish off. Once this was done, we had to call them back because the mixer tap on the bathroom sink didn't work. This was quickly replaced however a subsequent blockage from the bath revealed a complete disaster under the bath. Parts which hadn't been fitted properly and so had been leaking for a long time!

I absolutely would not recommend this company even if desperate!

Well am sorry to say but didn’t seem to be interested in smaller jobs and asked what my budget was, gave me random quotes without actually seeing the job…. Thought they would give me options of style of kitchen and bathroom… but asked what style I had in mind….not a good experience…felt like I was just a nuisance..’
