The Square is a nice place to shop but needs a few stores to attract more footfall into the arcade. It's clean, bright and has an indoor market that also needs more stall holders.
It's a shame more people don't support Hyde as a place to shop as it has the potential to be better.

Great place to shop for everything ? especially the OLD INDOOR MARKET Great butcher's on both floors, electrical store Joe and sons Jewelers plus many more ..... inc cafe ?

Loads of empty units,what a disappointing place to shop unless you like cafes, charity, phone and vape shops, only 3 stalls on the outdoor market and 2 were selling the same things

Ghost town zero investment all tameside council tax is spent on Ashton and Stalybridge
People of hyde deserve better
More barbers and pound shops than NHS hubs/centres
Nothing for the youth not even got a pensioner drop in anymore

I was visiting hyde Market place to get my watch i was gifted from a close friend from Christmas resized as it was quite big on me. Took 30 minutes for it to be done but was actually quite quick. Great service

Nice covered shopping center, plenty of shops and an indoor market, for all weather shopping. Plenty of parking in the pay and display carpark (parking rates very reasonable) easy access for wheelchairs and a Mobility shop at the doorways that are adjacent to the carpark.
The shopping centre is kept nice and clean also newly refurbished toilets and just outside the exit is the outside market and plenty of other shops.
There are 2 large supermarkets within walking distance, Asda and Morrison's are equal distance from the middle of the covered shopping centre (in opposite directions) less than 5 mins walk away.
