Went into store to buy a tank and set it up before buying a Betta fish and some tank mates. The store was really busy but the staff could not be more helpful and dedicated lots of time into helping me find what I wanted. They were knowledgable and supportive and made me feel really comfortable with my purchases. I can’t wait to get my tank set up and go back in a few weeks for my betta fish. Thank you so much!

Filthy!
Dried up dog wee at nearly every corner and display unit. Fresh wee left all over the store. Over 5 lots that we had to dodge around to do our shop.

Not our usual branch and will not be returning. No cleaning stations visible for the customers or staff to use.

Went to buy 2 small cold water goldfish and the assistant said that we couldn't get them as we didn't have a tank so we went around the store and found a 25 ltr fish tank and filter just to be told that we still couldn't get them because we had to get the water in the tank up top room temperature, I was keeping fish before she was born and knew exactly what I was doing but she never even bothered to find that out just assumed I was thick or something,i will never buy anything from this place ever again, the staff was so rude you wouldn't believe she really does need retraining and know what she's talking about. Absolutely discusted with this place and the staff

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Scott from the Middlebrook store, I called in on Friday to pick up some Crave treats for my 2 Lhaso’s, they were on a half price deal, so cleared the shelf, asked Scott if they had anymore available, he checked and advised that there were none but that he could place a click and collect order for me so that I would get the offer, I thought that was amazing and ordered 4 boxes, he then helped my daughter sign up for the pets at home club to get an extra discount applied at the checkout! What a fantastic credit this man is to your store, leading the way in great customer care in these difficult times! Just wanted to shout out, you have earned a customer for life with his gesture of kindness, thanks Scott 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Pathetic customer service. Waited 30 minutes to find available assistant to help us buy animal. Both assistants in the store were busy with other customers and we found noone to help us. Cheque By the till beyond the enclosures close to medicine counter. Both shop assistants seems nice but overloaded. Manager of this place underestimated how busy this place gonna be . More staff was needed on the floor. We left. So did other people

I wanted tank items/plants for my granddaughters axylotl. The young guy I spoke to was knowledgeable, not pushy on sales but clearly cared that I bought what was the best for the setting up of the tank.

I visited Pets at Home yesterday following an unfortunate case of white spot in my aquarium where all my rosy barbs passed away. I visited the shop to admire the fish and get some advice on next steps. I ended up talking with a couple of members of staff for the best part of an hour - all things fish and I realised there are some amazing fish owners and carers in this store ❤️. I had some very sound advice and felt a lot better about the passing of my fish as I left with some new plants and products for a Siamese fighter later this week when the tank is fully cycled again. Thank you to all the staff at this shop who assisted me. I look forward to revisiting this week for my new fish! 🐠

Absolutely fantastic!
I was looking confused, a member of staff doing another job in store, asked if I was OK. After listening to my puppy issues, he knew exactly what to do, gave me lots of help and advise, and... was very supportive. Polite and extremely helpful in my furbabies puppy panic, well done to him!
