I bought my car from James over a year ago now back in November 2023 but just wanted to leave a positive review as James was very honest in his messages with me before coming to view the car, the car was very clean and had clearly been very thoroughly valeted before viewing.

I was given more than ample time to view the car peacefully without being pestered, something i greatly appreciate, and was able to go on a short test drive afterwards.

The unit and office was also very clean and the paperwork process was also well explained and swift.

Although this car was quite a bit older and higher mileage than what James usually sells (was part exchanged/traded in) and was clearly listed as a Trade/Sold-as-is, no warranty sale, I did not feel any lesser of a customer and the price was very reasonable, about £1,500 off what the retail price would have been. I've actually done 12,000 trouble free miles (bar 1-2 minor things but it's a 12-13 year old car so to be expected and I do all my own maintenance myself as I am a Mechanical engineer) and the car has been superb to drive and own and was clearly well cared for by it's previous owners, and also very well originally specified with satnav, DAB, Bluetooth, (now added android auto compatibility into the factory screen too), cornering xenon lights etc.

Overall, a very pleasant and professional experience and I have no doubt James and his business will continue to be successful.

Dealing with James was a pleasure.

He was able to provide specifications and footage remotely to help understand the vehicle before i came to have a look in person. I really appreciated the lack of sales pressure as I had to go away and consider the purchase after seeing the vehicle.

Since purchasing I am extremely happy with the vehicle and have a smile on my face every time I get in!

Aftercare has also been excellent with James as i did experience a small electrical problem that we were able to get resolved amicably and professionally.

I Bought a Toyota Verso from Horizon …. Easy Quick and very very helpful - James is absolutely professional— I live quite far from the garage and James even offered me to pick me up from the station… so I can safe time and money for taxi . Excellent seller and a good man - The car was serviced and in good condition and 2 months on the road heavy driving so far without any issues- Highly recommended

Wouldn't normally leave bad reviews but this time I think it's need it!
Few weeks ago I put down £99 deposit to test drive TT RS. As I live 5hrs away from the dealership I wanted to make sure the car was still there when I got to them .
Deposit paid on the Monday . I was then told James would be on holiday from Wednesday and back on Sunday night. We agreed for me to go test drive the car on the Monday after he got back from holiday.

Few days after a paid the deposit I have done more research on the car . Found out things not right with upholstery etc.

I then called everyday to cancel the viewing. All though I knew James was on holiday I thought perhaps someone else would take over at the office. No answer for the whole week. Also sent an email in the week to clarify I didn't want to view the car anymore.

I contacted James as soon as he got back from holiday. He said he wouldn't refund me unless I went all the way there to find ,then, imperfections with the car. He also said that they had a customer lined up to buy the car, when actually is not true , as I'm writing this now, it has been over a month and the car is still for sale.
They were closed all week so , no sales could've been made!
You have made it impossible for me to cancel the viewing as you were away.

Still avoiding any of my messages on WhatsApp were we could've come to an agreement.

I'd like my deposit back please.

I will get in touch with trading standards.

What a wonderful buying experience from beginning to end. This is how buying a car should be. There was no pressure during the viewing and buying and James is a fountain of knowledge and a genuinely nice guy to do business with. The Audi is faultless a real head turner and I am absolutely made up with it. Definitely 5 star service thanks James ☺️

I bought a 22000 pound vehicle from Horizon after watching an in depth informational video and walk around on the car.
After watching the video that was made and my communications with James I had the confidence to purchase the vehicle.
The fact I had the confidence to make the purchase living 200+ miles away from Horizon and not seeing the car in person was priceless 👌.
James helped immensely with the finance and made the whole process incredibly easy.
Horizon had a new year deal at the time of purchase and the car was delivered to my door free of charge with a free 12 month warrenty, again an absolutely amazing seamless service.
My new car was exactly how it was described and needless to say "I was the cat who got the milk"
I can't really do justice here on how brilliant Horizon were in the whole process of purchasing a new car and I would highly recommend them.
Especially if you can't get down there to view in person.
Car buying for a customer can be a real minefield and in my experience you will definitely be sleeping well at night if you choose Horizon.

I bought a audi sq5 today from here and James the owner was amazing from start to finish I part exchange my car which was a dream car of mine and had to it let go due to changing circumstances of mine i said what I wanted for it and he looked at it ect with out any hassle said that he would give me what I wanted for it , what amazing man he is and thankyou so much for a easy hassle free deal 10 out of 10. Very hard to find a trustworthy dealer and hassle free once again thankyou so much James.
