Very unpleasant staff, Zoe- the manager ?was not able to talk to the customer, she was very unpleasant and did not listen to what was said to her, who chooses such a person as a manager ? She can't control herself, she is haughty and uncultured we felt very bad she didn't even want to talk to us and hid in the back of store, we called to return the mattress she told us to bring it to the shop and then said she wouldn't accept it because it wasn't packed, how do you pack an open mattress? She told us to leave and by calling she knew he was open. No one has ever treated us so badly in our lives, such a person for a manager? Zero professionalism, I do not recommend this store because of her customer service, argos such a good shop and it loses because of people like her!!!

Don't stick to deliveries. Cant change to click and collect to my own area when they don't stick to what's paid for but apparently I can walk from Ashton Under Lyne to Middleton Depo (for there screw up). If i wanted my items anything from Tuesday to Friday i would have ordered that but i paid for delivery for the Monday as its the only day i have free to waste before my sons birthday. Nothing resolved in 3 phone calls but definitely more pissed off and more time wasted.

But their welcome to deliver at 9 pm when I'm home

I have never experienced such unprofessional customer service as I did from Julie the store manager and Charlotte. I have shopped from Argos for many years and they have always exceeded my expectations when it comes to customer service. I purchased an item and decided to return after 3 days, unused and in brand new condition. Firstly she didn’t even listen to anything I had to say, then accused me of lying and walked off half way. I then took the same item to another Argos branch and they kindly reviewed and returned without any issues. I mean why make rules up when there’s no need. I won’t be going to this branch anymore and I advise to go to an alternative Argos store where they know how to communicate with a customer.

I'd paid for my item online so was able to waltz right past the Laminated Book of Dreams, and stroll straight to the counter to speak to the Keeper of the Treasure. Sue was her name. I had to wait a minute while she finished her colouring-in of some pictures of ducks. After repeating my details a few times, she got the gist, and ambled off to get me my treasure. It didn't take too long, altogether

BUYERS BEWARE!
They sold me a stolen product and then practically accused me of being a criminal in the middle of the store in the presence of other customers.
The 'managers' attitude was appalling - I would never want someone like that working for my company!
Luckily, with a bit of self-investigation, I was able to return to store and prove my findings before being refunded for the item. I will never purchase from Argos again.

Very unpleasant manager Zoe, she treated me very badly, she was unkind and didn't listen to what I was saying to her, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone because of a person like her!!!! I wanted to return a toy because it was broken and she didn't even listen to me what I was saying to her, probably because I am from another country and she is racist, I feel very bad now....

Bought a hover online and it wasen't working as expectet ,came today to return it and the manager of this store Dona did not want to help at all if you open it you can't return it ,how do i know if te item is working without trying it but this managar did not want to help at all started to speak very very rude with her explanation tying not to help at all. I am an Argos costumer for 12 years never had a bad experience as this one what a shame .

I went in to buy a tv, was checking they had it in stock, told yes they have plenty, went back after work to be told not in stock, so I chose another was told not in stock, went through 10 different tvs not in stock, so I ordered one 3 days wait then got a text there's a problem with my order and it's been cancelled, an absolute joke, there was also a couple returning a tv and was very unhappy with there customer service, staff don't seem to care, definitely want be goin back, avoid
