We popped here after doing the Wakefield park run. The sausage in bread roll is delicious with large super soft bread, decent sausage, and butter and branded ketchup and brown sauce. We bought carrot cake which is the best carrot cake I've tasted. Everything tastes fresh and made with good quality ingredients and excellentvalue for money. Friendly staff too.

I love the bread and cakes this company sell. I have been going there just under 5 years. The only thing that let's it down is some of the staff I have noticed and experienced 1st hand the attitude change when people of a certain look or non regulars come in to the shop. The last time I went in, while looking at the main display table and checking the amazing selection, only to have the woman behind thr counter quite abruptly ask "can I help you" now I already had some buns which I was going to purchase I felt a little hurried, and felt the tone was quite rude, it was not as if I was just hanging around, and I was the only person in the shop, it was an hour before closing, so I was not sure what her issue was, now I visit once or twice a week, the majority of staff are pleasant but it only takes a few to ruin the shopping experience. I hope staff remember without customers coming through the door, they will ko longer be needed. Also new people coming in after a while will become regulars.

I came across this bakery well over ten years ago when I felt like something to eat so went in a bought a millionaires shortbread, best I have ever tasted, so it became a bit of a habit to pop in here when ever I was passing. Retired now so don't get over Ardingly way that much nowadays, but today the wife fancied a croissant and as we where close thought we would pop in, she had her croissant and I could not resist the millionaires shortbread, which looked bigger than the last time I had one, they have a good selection of pies a pastries, hot and cold, well worth a look if your are passing and feel like a snack.

We ordered two chocolate cakes for a birthday party - one being vegan and gluten free. Both were absolutely delicious and went down a treat with our guests. Great service from Fellows: we’d definitely recommend this fantastic bakery.

What a discovery! We came especially this morning and purchased three delicious sausage rolls. Also, a cream chocolate doughnut for my 8 year old son. I thoroughly enjoyed the scrumptious pumpkin pie. The aftertaste is still lingering and makes me long for more!! We will be visiting on a regular basis. Keep on baking!

Melt in the mouth blueberry muffins, bakewells, doughnuts and so much more. The artisan breads are truly what bread should taste like. The best bakery in Sussex!
