This place has proven to be absolutely amazing for a birthday party.

The kids absolutely loved it! It is not only massive in size (and can take a 10x12ft bouncy castle) but also cozy, warm with food and drink on the budget!

The owner was most helpful in planning and facilitating the party - we really appreciate it.

The food and drinks were amazing so we will be back more often!

Visiting the area and found the fleet.
It was just closing (a Sunday) but was very accommodating. Lovely, chatty barmaid. Will definitely visit when in area again. But check timings.

Came in for a pint after work and had not visited before. Lovely lady behind the bar poured a great pint and was very friendly. Nice quiet friendly pub. Will be back.

What a fantastic find!! Lovely pub, food was excellent. Everything tasted fresh, we went for Sunday lunch and the portion sizes were big. It was all perfectly cooked. Now I'm fussy about roast potatoes and these were delicious. The roast beef was mouthwatering and tender. I had calamari to start, massive portion and finished with a home cooked apple and rhubarb crumble with custard. Incredible. The service was brilliant, the staff were all so warm, friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

My Granddaughters 16th birthday party was held here. Very large area to hire with outside space as well. Extremely clean toilets. Lovely bar staff. Excellent all round. Can’t comment on food as that was our own. Would highly recommend holding your event at this venue.

Don't judge this place by the way it looks. Went for Sunday dinner and the food was good with big generous portions. Staff are really lovey and nice. Will be going back when we are in the area again.

Most of the week it seems people come and go , having one or two drinks . So nothing new there then . But on Sundays this pub transforms into a very good gastro venue . The dining area holds maybe forty people ? So phone in advance . The Sunday roasts are delicious ! But have that home made feel about them . A little known gem is this place !
