I cannot comments too much as I have only visited at the moment due to attending dental appointments. I have also used the MacDonald on the 1st floor.

But from what I have seen and tried:
(1) Car park access is good and wide
(2) lots of parking spaces and seemed properly lit every time I went there.
(3) paying car park: the yellow tokens have now disappeared. This is now automatic through cameras recording your number plate. Don't forget to pay at pay machine on each floor before leaving. Screen touch sensitive and if not work go to other side.

(4) lots of shops (various) and facilities

(5) on the outside there are coffee shop Costa and banks and etc

All good from my point of view.

Very clean and tidy shopping centre. Plenty of parking and if you park in the Asda car park it’s free parking for a few hours. Basildon are doing the right thing to keep there high street full and it seems to be working. Always seems busy there. Plenty of good shops in there. It’s just missing a M&S or Next

Eastgate Shopping Centre is a shopping centre in the heart of Basildon. Here there is a wide range of shops and restaurants that sell a lot of things. There, you would find big brands like ASDA, JD, Boots, and Mooboo. Not only are there lots of places to shop but there is also a food place where there are a lot of restaurants like McDonald's and Burger King. It is very accessible because you can walk there, drive or even take public transport there. Despite all the good things there is one disadvantage to coming here, the cleanliness of the place is not very ideal as you would see a lot of rubbish everywhere which has not been recycled.

Place has lost its appeal and has gone down over the years. It use to be a bustling little town with plenty of shops and things to do. Can't really think of a good thing to say about it. But least I have some good memories. Oh the pie and mash shop is the only reason I go there now. Robins pie and mash 👍🏻

If there is anywhere that epitomises Essex, this is it. Lot of tacky shops, a few useful ones. Sizeable food court from which you can people watch the clientele going past.

The range of shops is huge and leads into a slightly odd high street.

Free parking with ASDA for three hours which is useful.
