Beware if you are sending a parcel they want a passport or drivers license !
No info about this when I printed my label
Also not on the big sign at reception - it’s only for pickup

Seems they are being more restrictive then necessary when sending a package

So much for their Coldplay advert saving the planet when I had to drive my diesel car an unnecessary 30 minutes just to show a passport !

Friendly and Helpful Service at DHL Express Gatwick

I recently visited DHL Express Gatwick to pick up a parcel, and I had a very pleasant experience. The lady at the reception was extremely kind and helpful. She informed me that my parcel needed to be collected from the nearby DHL eCommerce Depot and guided me with clear directions. Her warm and professional approach made the entire process easy and stress-free. Both locations offered excellent service, and I truly appreciate the efficiency and kindness of the staff. Highly recommended!

I came to pick up an important parcel, but as it turned out I was late and it had already been processed for return. but a girl named Freya. I was able to find my parcel already in the departing delivery vehicle. I am sincerely pleased with this service.

My parcel is missing, but was marked as delivered by the driver with a purple photo as proof of delivery and using my NAME to sign it.
I suspect the driver has either stolen it or the driver didn't feel like doing their job that day and did who knows what with my parcel.

I have an investigation open with DHL (let's see where this goes), and another investigation with the original sender and a solicitor.

People are not just sending parcels around for the fun of it. Anything important can be in there and that needs to be respected.

Absolute FREAKIN’ CHAMPS!! My husband’s passport (issued a temporary visa to come back home) was sent out late by the visa application office, despite us paying for a two way courier service, same day delivery, and them confirming via email that his passport was being sent back to us with plenty of time to spare to catch our end of week flight. Unfortunately, the visa application office dropped the ball, and did not send out my husband’s passport till very late yesterday through DHL. The whole DHL team, from their phone customer service, to the folks in-person pulled off miracles!!! Huge shout out the DHL Express Gatwick team for opening the doors straightaway for him, finding my husband’s passport in 4 minutes (wasn’t processed yet), helping him get a taxi to get to the airport IN TIME for our flight back home!!! I’m heavily pregnant, so this has been an absolute emotional rollercoaster of a week, but I can say with absolute certainty the folks at this DHL are performing miracles!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

Held a parcel for a week saying they didn’t have documentation for customs, but they actually did. Once they realised (but three phone calls later) magically they could deliver. Real geniuses at work there.

Waited all day at office yesterday for important delivery. Received a message that not able to deliver as consignee not in attendance. Phoned immediately to complain, Driver was called and said he could not come back as not in area... suspect he never was !
