Nice place, wasn’t busy when we went (thankfully). They have a variety of options for you to choose, if you want to try the “typical English Breakfast” or something more neutral like omelette or avocado toast.
Here you seat and a server will come and take your order, ours was very friendly, he heard us speaking our language and started talking to us in the same language.
The English Breakfast was very good, compared to other restaurants, seems to be good quality specially for that price.
The avocado toast was fenomenal, I loved the size more than anything, if you compare to brunch places in the US, this was the best deal for the quality and amount of food we got.
My ham and cheese omelette was good, not the best though, seemed light cooked.
Overall it was good.

Unfair to comment on ‘atmosphere ‘ because we arrived early ( 0900 on a Saturday) and were the only ones in there .( Had been a couple of times previously and then I thought it was fine ). Drinks more than acceptable . Food:,that’s another story . I ordered the Turkish breakfast whilst my wife ordered the scrambled eggs . Turkish meal almost swimming in oil. The two fried eggs poorly cooked . Simply not nice . My wife told me her scrambled eggs tasted like what she would imagine wall paper paste to taste like . £25 later : not impressed and would be doing friends a disservice if i recommended the location . A shame : Shouldn’t be too difficult getting the basic rights . It’s not as though anyone was under pressure.

Having found ourselves unexpectedly stranded in Horley due to our flight from Gatwick being cancelled we were lucky to find James' Kitchen, probably the best full English breakfast I have had outside of home. Ann had the Turkish breakfast and really enjoyed it, the hummus, the cheeses and the olives were exceptional. We had the impression that regardless of what we had ordered it would have been good. The service was friendly and professional, with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Portions were generous and the place was spotless. Definitely recommend it.

I ordered from Too good to Go and completely forgot to collect my goodies on Easter Sunday, thinking they would be closed anyways. Went today and Kaan was so understanding and accommodating. He was so helpful and friendly and agreed to give us our goodies. Would highly recommend them for their service and food! 5 star service. Will definitely return sooner than later! No food to waste.

We love this place. Always good service here. Turkish breakfast and full English selected this time and both were generous and tasty. Server told us that an evening Turkish menu is now available so we will certainly visit for that.
Turkish people were eating here which suggests to me that James' is authentic.

It's quickly becoming my regular in Horley. Love the coffee here and the food is good too. Good choice of food and drinks, reasonable prices for area and big portions. Always find staff friendly , thanks

Coincidentally we have found out that this wonderful cafe open for the evenings and serving mouth watering delicious Mediterranean food. I could not think to take the photos in details. I do highly recommend anyone who likes to have a good quality food and very affordable price . Will definitely come again…. 🧿
