We have been using the Flooring Outlet for many years. Whilst it is very local for us, the products on offer and the service you receive is worth the trip.

Our recent visit was to have a new carpet to our living room, which was fitted by TFO.

We also purchased some laminate flooring for our toilet which I installed myself.

All of the team are very easy to talk to, very knowledgeable and transparent with cost and fitting options.

We went to the Flooring outlet for our new LVT flooring in our living room.
The showroom is full of different flooring types from LVT to carpet. We were so impressed with the choice. We ended up choosing a herringbone laminate with fitting. The price was very competitive and within a couple of weeks of visiting we had a brand new floor fully fitted. They came and prepped the floor and then came back the next day and fitted the flooring.
We absolutely love it and we will be back for a stair runner and upstairs carpets

An amazing service from the team, amazing quality carpet and beautiful vinyl donated by the company to us, to help get our little girl home from hospital! Can’t thank them enough for all that they did. Will definitely use them again for the rest of the house! Thank you so much

I don’t recommend this company. The two workmen totally ruined my door frames and skirting boards and floors as well as the awful job done to my hard flooring. I had the floor skimmed to be extra flat and it’s now rippled.
They invalidated my new home 2 year warranty as they tried to move sinks and toilets without telling me and caused leaks I had to pay to fix. I also had to pay for a decorator to repaint my skirting boards and mend the door frames they had hacked into. They told me I had to get rid of all the remnants which I took to the tip, the tip staff asked me to remove the mixed remnants out of the bags to sort into relevant skips, I put my hand in only to find loose Stanley blades in there. I contacted the manager who brushed me off with a lighthearted sorry. So I contacted the owner of this company back in May 2024 and I haven’t had a response. I also included 64 photos of the shoddy work.
I’m disgusted that my brand new home has been ruined by this company.

The Flooring Outlet - Carpet, Laminate, Artificial Grass, LVT Hi Ben. Thank you for your reply. I can appreciate that you have been supportive throughout the many issues I have reported to you, however I would like to point out that you have not visited my property to see the standard of workmanship that I have had to endure throughout this process. At the time that your fitters returned to correct the flooring for the first time (glue all over the flooring, spongy sections of flooring etc) my mother was at the property supervising and to let the workmen in. I did not see the finished work until after they had left, which is why I took photos/videos and contacted you directly with the issues. There are 5 instances of damage to my property that your workmen have not been held accountable for; notedly the downstairs toilet screws, the upstairs sink being moved which caused a leak, upstairs toilet screws, bath panel screws, and also the cupboard in the kitchen which was damaged, and the supporting feet being removed from the underside of the kitchen units. All of which have had to be rectified by another tradesperson. There is still a significant dip in the kitchen floor on the right hand side and the floor moves/dips when you stand on it and makes a creaking sound as it “pops” back into place. There is also damage to my woodwork throughout where the screeding had to be scrubbed off, and also the door frames where significant damage has been done. I have sent you evidence of all of this previously. I would appreciate the costs of all the decorating that I have had to pay for to repair the damage done to be covered by your workmen as you have pointed out previously, they have insurance to cover such issues. If you would like to discuss this further, please give me a call and I am sure we can come to an agreement. Maria

Ben the owner, came to my home to show me samples of carpet for my hall, stairs and landing.
Ben arrived promptly, he is very helpful and friendly an all round nice person, which made me feel confident about buying from this company.
Ben advised me about underlay and carpet types, there was something suitable for every budget, although the one I chose was mid range, for the quality it was cheaper than those in other carpet outlets.
I didn't use the 'flooring uplift' service, but in hindsight I wish I had!
Any old flooring has to be disposed of by the customer, this was discussed during Ben's visit.
Further communication with Ben and members of staff was excellent too.

Carpet fitter Steve came to fit my carpet on a day which was convenient to myself. Steve fitted underlay and carpet, what a fantastic job he did, thank you Steve it's a work of art.
The carpet quality, softness and bounceback is amazing, its the best carpet in the house and I'll be purchasing more carpets from Ben in the future.

From my experience I definitely can recommend using 'The Flooring Outlet.'

Got a phone call 30 mins before arrival to let us know he was on his way.
Carpet was fitted to a high standard by.an obvious professional.
Also, the sales team took good care of us, offering advice when needed.
Overall, a great experience from start to finish.

These guys are AMAZING!!!! The whole process was fantastic from James coming to measure up to the fitters being absolutely fantastic and so speedy to Johnathan checking in to see if everything was OK. Wr have had 2 of our nurseries fully recovered done and I would recommend these guys to everyone.

Brilliant fit. No job is a pain. Couldn't get the gripper up as no tool to do so. Fitter did this free of charge with no fuss.
