Wow just simply amazing. Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Alison & the girls ...after trying a few other bridal shops for bridesmaid dresses, which was really unhelpful we dropped in on the prom & bridal boutique, after very nearly giving up and so glad we did, from the moment we stepped in we was welcomed in by Alison and the girls and the service we received was very personalised, professional and friendly.
Alison instantly knew what design would be most flattering and she was spot on. I would definitely recommend this gorgeous boutique whatever the occasion they have a stunning collection there's something for everyone. Alison you are amazing ?

I can highly reccomend this shop.
First time buying a Prom dress for my daughter, had no idea how early we had to start looking & that we needed to make an appointment.
Luckily when we turned up the owner was so lovely & accommodating & let my daughter have a look round & try some dresses on.
There is literally every dress & every colour, just so many to choose from & such a beautiful shop.
We made an appointment & went back again a few days later & my daughter found the perfect dress.
It was made to order, so they took all her measurements & also the name of her school to make sure nobody from her school can buy the same dress, which was fantastic.
We have been to collect the dress today & it was a perfect fit.
The owner & all the staff are so lovely & helpful & make you feel very comfortable, as it's such a big decision.
Thank you all very much for giving my daughter a lovely experience xx

The Prom Shop,… from the moment we walked into the shop back in December till now , it was Magical!
Alison made us feel so comfortable and at ease to look around at the huge range of beautiful dresses, in all colours, sizes and styles. She gave us time and space and opportunity to try on dresses to see what suits and gave advice.
The look on my daughter’s face when she found “The One” wow what a moment.
This is what I will never forget, there was no pressure to buy from Alison. All the time and care she gave us her parting words were “ Well if I don’t see you again, have a wonderful prom”
That for us meant everything, no sales pitch just pure love for what she does and for the girls coming through the door. That’s priceless!!!
The dress was ordered with no complications, fitted , We have an extremely overjoyed daughter with a dress of her dreams.
Alison you made our daughter feel like a princess and memories we as a family will never forget.
I can not recommend “The Prom Shop” enough

What a fantastic experience. My daughter really had no idea what she wanted. Then she tried on half the shop! She looked fantastic in everything but the young lady called Summer who was helping her, made the best comment that made my daughter make her decision….she told her “you look so happy in that one”. Thank you Summer, you made the whole experience very special. Can’t wait for the big day now x

Very unpleasant experience, would AVOID at all costs. My daughter was measured for a dress by a young girl and told she needed a size zero, when we went to collect she could barely get in it and couldn’t walk or sit down. The owner fat shamed her in front of a shop full of people and said she had put weight on and gone up 2 dress sizes, which was impossible in less than 2 months! We were forced to take and pay for the dress and just given the details of a seamstress! The dress had to be completely altered, so it was nothing like the original dress ordered, cost us a fortune and ripped as soon as she arrived at her prom 🙁 The owner has refused to compensate us in any way - please don’t put your daughter through this experience, there are plenty of other reputable and professional prom shops to choose from!

The girl who "helped" us obviously didn't want to be there. She was rude, dis-interested and more keen on sorting her weekend and looking what everyone else was doing. My daughter tried some dresses on but it was such a hurried process. It was like 'yeah that's nice, we can order that now.' Very unpersonal and made me feel like they did not deserve the £600 price tag, so we went elsewhere.

I would like to share my experience with you all first of Thankyou Thankyou so very much to Alison who today has made made daughter issy the happiest girl in town. Issy has never In her life worn a dress let alone a beautiful gown usually hoodies ect hiding herself away from the world issy due to illness isn’t going to prom and wasn’t that bothered..”I think she really was” we have booked a holiday and one of the nights was a formal night dining with the captain of the ship and my first thought was oh god what will issy wear don’t think shorts and converse will cut it… then out of nowhere she said she would love to wear a beautiful dress!!!!! I’m a hair dresser and had heard so many of my prom girls talk about this place in breadbury so today we went unannounced as soon as she saw the dresses in the window she was so excited. We couldn’t have been more welcome Alison was so busy getting all her girls gowns ready but still took the time to help us I thought I new what I was doing but actually I had no idea and neither did issy.. Alison took issy and listened to her and what she wanted and came to her with the exact dress of her dreams the dress that not only would fit her perfectly but would show her of for the beauty that she is. All the years I’ve been doing prom hair I never really gave a thought to the work the dress fitters did untill today the care and kindness we was shown speaks volumes .. if anybody is looking for the perfect dress with just the most amazing lady to help find your perfect this is your go to!!
