I have been visiting this grocery market from time to time. There was a period when I went almost twice a week, but since we now have a smaller yet similar shop near our home, we no longer need to travel that far for groceries.

This market is quite large and offers a diverse range of products from around the world. However, its primary focus is on Turkish-made goods, which is why it is particularly desirable for us.

One of the key advantages of this place is the availability of halal products, including fresh meat, which makes it a convenient option when considering where to buy groceries.

In terms of hygiene, I can’t fault them. I have never noticed any major cleanliness issues, in fact, I have never had any concerns regarding hygiene here. The store is always well-maintained, and there are a couple of staff members constantly walking around, particularly in the fresh produce section outside, ensuring that everything remains tidy and organized at all times.

The layout of the shop is much better than that of many similar stores. The aisles are spacious, allowing customers to move around freely without worrying about knocking things over, which is a significant improvement compared to other grocery markets of this type.

One downside I have noticed over time is the pricing. It is a bit expensive, and every time I visit, the prices seem to increase. While this may not be entirely their fault, as market conditions likely force them to raise prices, it can still be frustrating. Imported products, in particular, tend to be costly, which may contribute to the overall pricing structure. It would be great if they could find ways to offer more competitive prices or promotions to make shopping here more budget-friendly.

They used to provide reduced-price products nearing their sale-by date, especially fruits and vegetables in boxes. These were always my favorite, as they offered a good bargain and reduced waste. However, either they no longer do this or have found another way to utilize these products, as I haven't seen them available recently.

Parking is quite limited, with only a couple of spaces at the back of the shop, but I have never parked there as they are often occupied. Most of the time, we prefer using the Lidl parking lot nearby, which is a lifesaver, without it, finding parking close to the shop would be quite difficult.

This store has a wide variety of Turkish and international products. It is well organized, clean. Freshness of the produce section is remarkable. However, prices especially in the butchery section are even above the online meat stores.
There is a small controlled parking lot behind the shop.

Nice place especially for fresh fruit and vegetables. They do have butchers inside which is very clean. The Turkish bakery inside is also very good

They sell pretty good stuff there that you can’t find anywhere else but I’ve now been there twice where I the food they sold me was rotten. The latest time was one of their cakes, it was full of mould.

Loads of variety to be found in this large store but it can be quite expensive compared to other stores of the same nature. The fruits and vegetables selection in the store is impressive as are the fresh breads and sweets that can be found at the back of the shop. Opening hours are good.

They've the finest Butcher in hornchurch, extremely good quality meat and very helpful butcher willing to help you to cut according to your chosen size, vegetable selection is excellent so do herbs and fresh olives which you won't get anywhere near by, I'll highly recommend though pricing is on higher side.
