I parked on the top floor of Mersey Shopping Centre car park. You can enjoy the great scenery of the nearby areas. There is an indoor one on the 2nd floor. It is a large shopping centre in Stockport with adequate parking space here. Besides, the parking charge is quite reasonable and suitable for short term parking. You can pay by card or cash too. The first floor is the shops and restaurants with a lot of choices

Mersey Shopping Centre Car Park was a delightful experience, particularly during the Christmas season. The shopping center was bustling with activity, and although many shops were undergoing renovations and refurbishments, it did not detract from the overall experience. Essentially the only real option to park in the city centre if you're visiting Stockport. It's not very cheap, but there aren't any more options available. The parking spaces are large enough, so no complaints there. However, there isn't an option to pay by card; only cash or mobile payment for the fee. Leaving the parking could be easier, as it lacks convenience in that aspect.

Absolutely terrible. Having to pay in cash and pay for more time than you might need is ridiculous. The idea of paying to park when you are spending money in the shopping centre is equally ridiculous.
At the very least there should be a ticket that can be put into a machine at the point of departure. Visit Wythenshawe Hospital car park to see how it should be done. Payment machines that accept cash or card should be utilised. Also the car park surface was flooded in a number of places.
Considering your spending a huge amount on the town centre this facility is atrocious.

This place is great you could leave a body here and it wouldn't be discovered for ages as the car park is so poorly illuminated. On the plus side it is very amusing watching people trying to find their way out of the maze of dead ends and the poor signage being of no help you can have hours of fun watching people make circuit after circuit of the car park / maze.

Couldn't get the app ring go to, had to paid in cash. Should make the car park free for a couple hours. This is why Stockport shopping prescient is failing, come on Stockport council sort out give the shops a chance.....

I recently visited the Mersey Shopping Centre Car Park and it was a bit of a mixed experience. On the plus side, the car park is centrally located in the city and makes it easy to access the shopping centre. However, the signs were quite confusing, and the front gate wasn't functioning at all. What was particularly annoying was that there was no sign mentioning where the lifts were - this made it a bit of a challenge to get to the shopping centre!
